    Only Midwest

By Carole on Sep 27, 2020

Midwest crates are the only brand I buy. They are secure and safe. I have never had a dog escape or injure itself in a Midwest crate. But to be safe, don't crate your dog if it has tags on it's collar. The tags can get stuck in the wires of any crate and panic your dog, possibly cause injury.

(Not often, and never for more than a couple of hours) He paws at the door, and has bent the side walls that connect the door. We have to use a carabiner to keep it closed, and sometimes he manages to bend the wire enough that getting the carabiner loose is an issue. He’s not even a year old now and we’re going to have to buy yet another crate. It’s a big crate. But it’s definitely not a heavy duty crate. … more
