Nice product but a failure for me
I purchased this as a way to confine my 90lb Labrador Retriever following major leg surgery. I did have the product in the house. The fencing along the base was completely secure; however, within 30 minutes of being left inside the pen, he chewed the zip ties and managed to crawl out through this tiny opening at the bottom! While this is probably a good product, if you have a determined dog like mine, it may not work for you.
Design is not great
Fairly easy to put together, had someone help me though so it may be frustrating to put it up by yourself. The wire seems slightly flimsy too but this kennel is to house my grandmothers small dogs so it stands up okay to them jumping on it. My biggest problem is the gate, the bolts are so long and point inward so when you are leaving the very narrow gate you have to be careful or you’ll scrape yourself and it hurts!
Good product
Was easy to put together. The hardest part is placing the fencing around the frame. But in all it about a hour to put up.
Protects My Dogs From Themselves
I have 2 two 100 lb huskies. They fly and hop fences, they run when I call them, they destroy everything I buy them and have accidents in the house during New Years and the pandemic. They are my best friends and companions. Because of the crate, I have piece of mind that they are safe. Too many distractions for these monsters. Ambulances constantly, coyotes, other dogs on the run. I am very happy with the crates and very pleased with Chewie. My best friends depend on their business. Thank you Chewie. destroyed in 2 weeks
Our 10 month old lab destroyed this pen. The chain is not sturdy and is easily torn up and away. I gave it my all with this pen putting in hog rings ply wood on sides and top till finally he destroyed the door. He bent the bar holding the door in place.
Does exactly as Intended
I bought this to house two cats while they recovery from being spayed. They will also go into this during the night so they will be safe. It fit perfectly under my carport. It looks exactly like the picture. Has plenty of room for two cats, two beds, food and water along with a liter box. It was a booger to put together. If you aren’t familiar with chain link fencing, you may have a hard time putting this together. The chain link fencing was all tangled around from shipment. All in all, it took two people to put together. Roughly a couple hours. I’m leaving a five star because it’s been amazing for my cats and knowing they are safe makes up for everything!
Very Happy with Retailer
I received 3 kennels, all within the timeframe promised. I called and voiced my opinionthat one of the chain links was not as strong as the others (may have been the last of a roll). They immediately offered to send out a replacement. I was expecting a replacement chain link fence piece. I was surprised to see a full replacement kennel at my front door two days later. Very pleased with both the retailer and the purchases!

Horrible cage
Didn't have it a month and the puppy went through it.
