The outer rim measures approximately 1/2 inch so the inner space will be close to an inch less in length and width than the overall dimensions.

Great Product

My dogs crate pan was over 15 years old and had chunks cracking out and I did not want his paws to get cut up. I searched all local pet stores locally and not one had the extra extra large size in stock. I took a chance on chewy and once again they came thru with flying colors. It fits perfectly and highly recommended it and shipment was quick.

Measurements are a little off

The crate pan is sturdy and quality looks good but unfortunately the sizing is wrong. The description says 40.6x27x1 actual size of the item is 41x27.5x1 which is just enough to not fit in our crate.

crate liner

I bought this for my cat. No matter how many mats I use, litter goes everywhere! This has solved the issue and keeps the area very neat as well as being simple to clean. Would totally recommend.

Replacement tray

exactly what I needed

Exactly what I needed to put under all of the litter boxes around the house. I already had two for the bunny litter boxes so that it would catch the hay that they track out of the box, but finally decided to get some for the cat litter boxes to save the flooring underneath if any urine makes it through the crack between the box and the hood, and it helps to contain the litter in one spot, too. I have a litter pad that I put right outside the box, on top of this tray and between the two it has helped immensely!

Works great with wood kennel

Purchased on etsy a wood kennel table, but it had no bottom. It worked well with my dog who was house trained and liked carpet. Puppy needed a tray as we crate trained and this was perfect.

As expected

This pan was as expected and served to replace the original one that our destructive girl ruined. Unfortunately, she destroyed this one as well, and we now have a metal pan in her crate. The pan itself was perfectly fine and would not have been destroyed by any of our other dogs...it's just she is our "problem" child! I recommend this pan for anyone whose dog isn't destructive.

Size on listing is wrong

Specs say the 42" tray 27" wide, which would have been perfect for our dog's crate. It's 27.5" inches wide and doesn't fit.

Great replacement pan

The Midwest crate pan is a quality plastic pan. To prevent the pan from cracking, put foam mat underneath the pan so it is not resting on the metal crate. It will also be more comfy for your dog.
