First of all I’m 71 and a klutz when it comes to putting things together. My husband is blind and elderly so the crate was up to me. Who ever designed it should be given an award. I had it up with the cushion inside of it in under 3 minutes! This is amazing plus it’s nice looking. I love the 2 doors. All my pets enjoy it. Great purchase!
Hello, we have a new 2 month old puppy and we are crate training him. This bed sheds to to to much. We end up with tumble weeds of fur everywhere and he is ingesting it and then having issues where it’s stuck in his throat. NOT CHEWYS FAULT they resolved this quick and easy but it’s not a good bed for puppies.
I bought a few several years ago and have washed them frequently. They wash beautifully and have lasted well all that time. Just bought a few more as the originals have gotten thinner with wear. I have definitely gotten my money's worth, my dogs love them. I also use them as liners for their pens.
Sheds wayyyy too much and way too easily. Luckily my pup has not ingested any as far as I know, but it’s a down right mess and a pain to keep it clean. Proceed with caution if you want to buy!
I bought the 18" one to put in a cat carrier to make it cozy. Well, after leaving it on the floor one night 2 of my cats, one 11 pounds one 8.5 pounds decided they want to take turns sleeping on it. It is well made and can take scratching. I plan to buy another to put in the Kong Cabin for cats. An excellent product for cats!!
I liked the look of the bed…the cinnamon color is really cute and my dog loved resting his head on the bolster. The straps made it excellent for attaching to a raised cot-style bed. …But ultimately, it sheds too much. I had two beds and after a year, I gave up and threw them out. I was constantly picking up large clumps of fuzz even though I vacuum regularly. If you can make a non-shedding version of this (especially with different color options), it would be our “go-to” bed. Until then, we’ll stick with the frisco swirl mat.
We have 8 feral cats. We bought the medium size dog house and put these mats in it and they love it. With winter coming, I know they will be safe and warm.
This dog still finds ways of trying to chew up his bed. The bed does shed too much. But overall he knows that’s his bed spot. This bed is not for teething dogs or dogs who love to chew.
I ordered the best wooden crate and the pad that was recommended. The pad is way too small does not cover the bottom. Chewy did not have any to fit. Why sell a crate and not carry a pad that fits
Unfortunately this is falling apart. My puppy has thrown up twice from eating the fuzz that comes off of it. We no longer use it out of fear of him getting an intestinal blockage from it.
