I liked the look of the bed…the cinnamon color is really cute and my dog loved resting his head on the bolster. The straps made it excellent for attaching to a raised cot-style bed. …But ultimately, it sheds too much. I had two beds and after a year, I gave up and threw them out. I was constantly picking up large clumps of fuzz even though I vacuum regularly. If you can make a non-shedding version of this (especially with different color options), it would be our “go-to” bed. Until then, we’ll stick with the frisco swirl mat.
My bunnies love these beds! They love all of the sizes, even the smaller one. :) They vacuum up well and then I also wash in the washing machine with vinegar and detergent, then hang dry. They are not waterproof on the bottom, but liquid doesn't go through instantly, which is nice. The pink and blue ones have less fuzz that comes off, but all have worked really well for me. They also work well to put in carriers for vet visits. They have fit perfectly in the 2 different sized carriers I have.
I bought this mat to go with Frisco Heavy Duty Fold & Carry Double Door Collapsible Wire Dog Crate, Small. My furbaby was in crate while i made breakfast when I checked on her some how she was in between the tray and mat with the rubber band part wrapped around her neck and body. I have no idea how this happened because everything was attached. However just beware. I cut the straps for safety.
I purchased this in 2 sizes to use in the crate as my puppy grew. It is probably comfortable but the fleece comes off in clumps, even after repeated washing. Not only do I find clumps all over my house, & on my pup but it is dangerous because she has started to try to eat the clumps. It is in a lower price range so I should have known but did not expect this. Photos are after repeated washing. Every day I have to clean up similar amounts from the crate & my floor.
I bought 2, 22" & 24", they fit perfect & these are very nice, soft & cushy with memory type foam. They also have 4 corner straps to hold them in place. 1 of them broke already on the bigger bed but they are still nice & it still stays put.
My dog loves this bed but be ready for it to shed everyday. You always have a mess on the carpet. I don't dare put it in my washer it would plug it up. I am taking to the laundry mat where they have washers made for pet beds of all kinds. Better to look at something that doesn't shed so much. I wouldn't buy again.
To start off the mat does shed but only because my dog would scratch it repeatedly none stop. I would recommend using this mat in pet carriers instead of them having to sleep in them. But I love the fact that it's at a good cheap price.
My dog pawed at this once and the straps that are supposed to keep it attached to the bottom of the crate snapped immediately. The pawing also ripped up some fluff from it and he didn’t even do it that long. Wouldn’t recommend if your dogs moves whatsoever. Flimsy and cheaply made.
This bed is very soft and cushy feel, but it’s shedding fluff all over when my dog spins to make her bed. She likes to roll in it an get comfy, but comes out with extra fluff! Hopefully this will stop after I wash it the first time.
My wheaten terrier has been vomiting a lot the past week or two. I finally linked it to the fact that when she goes to bed, she starts to pull the fleece out and swallows it. So, if you have a chewer, it might not be the best choice.
