For safety purposes, MidWest recommends removing your dog’s collar, harness or leash before placing them in their dog crate. Monitor your pet during the first few days of crate training to ensure that they are adapting well to their new home.
To protect the finish of your Pet Home and the bottom pan, use only mild, non-abrasive cleaners and water. Any coarse scrubbing or abrasive materials could damage the finish.

This is a heavy duty well built dog crate. There was one panel that was a little bent along the top edge from shipping, but nothing we couldn't straighten out. It is best to have two people to put it together, just because of it's size. The size is great!! We have a continually growing Mastiff puppy. He's 122 pounds at 8 1/2 months old. This crate gives him plenty of room for stretching out and sitting up comfortably. He loves it, actually goes into it by himself. Very nice kennel, would purchase again.
Whoops! Sometimes you make an expensive mistake lol. This product DOES NOT BREAK DOWN EASILY or fold up. It is HEAVY, 70 pounds. The wire has inconsistent welds.
This item came withthe rods and parts crooked so it could not be put together. It is extremely cheap quality. Save yourself the hassle and do not order this awful product
This cage is huge! Whatever you’re thinking, it’s probably bigger than that. It is also VERY heavy and bulky, and a bit of a pain to put together. It comes in pieces you have to assemble. Pretty sturdy when put together. It did the job and worked well for my dog when we needed it for his rest and recovery after tearing his hip flexor muscle. It would be perfect for a Great Dane or Pyrenees. Mine is a boxer and I was able to fit his elevated food and water stand in it with a bed also! It takes up quite a bit of room so keep that in mind!
This monstrosity is such a pain in the butt to build, and many parts were bent or broken when they arrived. It's WAY too tall for the size of the pan, and takes up way too much space height wise. (No way the golden retreiver in the sample picture is as tall as this crate!) It was so difficult to build my partner and I fought the entire time about it. It's also ridiculously heavy, scratches the floor because it has no wheels, and generally annoying.
My two great danes love these crates so much they often spend time napping in them throughout the day with the door open. Easy assembly and sturdy too.
Yes, life saver. I would have killed our much loved pup if I had not gotten him more space. He is mostly Belgian Malinois and 10 months old 115 lbs when he blew out his ACL. During the critical two weeks post-surgery he gained height/weight and outgrew his ordinary large cage. This one his is able to stretch out, stand up and does not balk at going in. He had to not run or jump for six weeks minimum. This was the only reason we were able to make sure of that. He was teathered to the cage and could have a feeling of freedom with the door open and additional bed outside cage. Had to put cardboard and comforters around so he could not trigger chase response by seeing the cats. Was a surprise this one did not just unfold to use, but instructions were excellent and we got it together pretty fast.
We ordered this crate and divider in prep for our Great Dane that will be joining our family in a few weeks. The crate is not cheap and it arrived bent and broken. The hooks and panels were so severely bent that we could barely get them out of the box and untangled from each other. The back panel is supposed to have two small hooks to secure the top and both were broken.
This crate is perfect for our Great Dane puppy to grow into. It's tall as well as long so he will never have to duck. Even though I read the dimensions, I was still surprised how much room it takes up, but definitely needed. It was also a heavy package and would have been easier to put together with two people although my husband did it himself. Great value and delivery!
This crate is quite large, I have a 5 month old Gray Dane puppy and didn’t want to have to buy another when he gets bigger. This is very sturdy and my adult daughter and myself were able to easily assemble it watching the video on you tube that the company has. My pic shows it with a crib mattress in it but there is extra room on the width. Let’s hope the crate training is as easy as the assembly!
