  • Terrific Product!

    By on

I bought 2 of the 2 1/2 cup size to use at the shelter where I volunteer. There's an older terrier who is mostly blind and is deaf. She walked theough her own waste then stepped in the shelter-provided bowls contaminating her food & water. I bought these in the hopes I could train her to find them with no help. I clipped to her cage door & she immediately found them! Now her food & water stay clean, the staff mentioned how easy they are to clean, snap in & out, and they hold firmly to the cage! I'll add 2 to each of my orders until there are enough for all of the cages for the small dogs. Other volunteers asked where I got them, so stock up, Chewy! • Love the idea but...

    By on

I love the idea of these bowls for my dog's kennel but a couple of things. If your planning on filling the bowl all the way with water I would get the next size if it fits in your kennel like I did and only filling the bowl 3/4 of the way. The reason being is because the brace that holds the bowl is tight and it will cause the water to spill when your getting the bowl in and out of the brace. Next reason is because the brace is so tight on the bowl it scratches the sides and causes rust (this is only happening to one bowl so far and I got 2). I still love the bowls because they are perfect for my dogs kennel and he has to wear a cone due to his neuter.

  • Great bowls for dog crates

    By on

Had bowls that just hung on the wire crate. Was constantly bending hooks back but don't hold up to large dogs eating from them. I have a 70# & 85# German Shepherd and they barely move when eating out of these bowls. Got these bowls and they attach VERY sturdily to the crates. Smaller size is a plus so dogs have plenty of room and aren't spilling water everywhere. Easy to clean and they snap snugly into their holders. Love them!

  • Wonderful Product

    By on

Our Rabbit Cirice loves her new bowls as do we, she doesn't throw her food anymore... She did do it the first time I fed her with them but stopped once she realized that they aren't to come out... I love these bowls perfect for her area and keeps her area super neat and tidy! I find removing the bowls very easy for cleaning but have enough strength to make it a slight challenge for her to remove...

  • Convenient Item

    By on

We have a large dog, and this 8 oz. bowl is perfect for her for reasonable amounts of time that we are not home, which is usually not more than 2-3 hrs. The bowl clips in firmly, so there is no problem of it falling out even if bumped. We only gave 4 stars because the clip itself, which is attached to the crate walls with screw tabs, does have to be re-tightened on a regular basis. Still, worth the cost.

  • Good quality, but difficult

    By on

I bought these bowls in two different sizes. They are awesome and very easy to put on the side of the kennel. However, the bowls don't slide in and out easily so I cannot slide out the water bowl to refill it. Instead, I use a cup to refill the bowl. Otherwise a lot of splashing and spilling occurs. Other than that issue, these bowls Were a great purchase

  • Best ever!

    By on

Needed something for my Labradoodle when we were not home for him to be fed. It took an adjustment to for him to get used to it but adjusted quickly, like a day. One is used for water the other for food, the water dish is best used by taking the water to the bowl not the bowl to the holder as you will splash water getting it to snap back in.

  • tips over easy

    By on

This is a great idea but needs improvement. I've wanted to try these for a long time so when I saw them on sale I bought some. If you push or pull the bowls they seem tight. But if you barely press on the side of the bowl away from the crate, it tips over. We've been using them for two days and they have already tipped over twice.

  • Great Bowls

    By on

I bought these to use while I am crate training my puppy. They are very nice and of great quality. Being able to attach them to the crate to prevent spilling was a plus. I highly recommend these stainless steel bowls. The price was great, also. Thanks chewy for offering great merchandise, awesome prices, and fabulous customer service.

  • Gretchen Proof Bowls

    By on

Two of the bowls are attached to the mesh on the second floor of a cat enclosure. Thanks to our small dog, cat food and litter must be out of his reach. Gretchen and Lars are neurotic food covering cats, usually dumping dry cat food. There is no longer any scattered cat food. The dog misses his clean up duty!
