The Snap'y Fit patented system solves this problem by locking securely in place with the grommet hanger. The bowls are available in 10fl. ounce, 20 fl. ounce, 4 fl. cup & 8 fl. cup (1 and 2 qt.) sizes.

  • Good idea but a smart dog will still create a mess

    By on

Purchased these so that we could put in kennel to avoid the dogs picking up their dishes or knocking the dishes over with their paws. (I tried the neater feeder and they took it apart in 5 mins. of course if I sit there its fine) Based on some of the reviews I decided to leave dishes connected BUT my german sheps had another idea. Within about 15 minutes the three month old dislodged both bowls. So then I went back in and took large binder clips and clipped the bowls to the holder. This has worked so far though they were able to remove some of the clips (they are super smart). Next we are going to try to screw the bowls into the holder. The maker must have heard the reviews and the stickers Purchased these so that we could put in kennel to avoid the dogs picking up their dishes or knocking the dishes over with their paws. Have not seen any rust issues yet but its early. … more

  • Snappy Fit Bowl

    By on

I like that the whole entire thing doesnt have to be removed to refill with water. Only the silver bowl needs to be removed while the black metal holder stays attached to the crate. Just easily snap the bowl in and out when you need to fill. This makes it so much easier. When attached it stays solid and bowl doesnt wobble or slide up and down. Easy to clean.

  • Snap fit/secure water bowl

I purchased these bowls for kennels where I have feral kittens. Anything not well attached to something means another toy that just has added liquid for fun, and also means that they can get litter in their water. The prior problem is taken care of by a solid attachment to the kennel. The only objection I have is that it's impossible to get off of the bracket without spilling anything left in the bowl, and impossible to get it back on filled with water. The bracket is really tight, which I suppose is necessary to do the job. So, I take off the bowl, clean it, put back on without water, then fill with a bottle. • Works perfectly attached to the crate

    By on

I use this for food only so getting it out and putting it back in is not an issue (only making sure the dog doesn't start eating until I get it back in the holder). It is easy to pop in and out. I would recommend if using for water, bring the water to the bowl and don't try to pop it in. It stays locked solid to the side of the crate and is at the perfect height for my Shepard mix. I don't have any issues with it falling out of the holder and it holds up through her aggressive eating habits.

  • ARRRRRRGH!

It was difficult to decide on a review score for this product. In terms of functionality, they are great. I had purchased a similar product for our two youngest Cavaliers and decided to outfit our entire Cavi family (7 in all) with this type of crate bowl so that I could feed them all separately in their crates to keep a better handle on how much each was eating etc. So, for functionality they get 5 stars. HOWEVER, are you freekin' kidding me Snappy Fit? What did you do, buy up all of NASA's spare glue that they used to affix the heat shields to the space shuttles????? I literally just spent 2 hours soaking, scrubbing, and again soaking and scrubbing and then used 3/4 of a bottle of goo gone and an inordinate amount of dawn dish soap, and in the process destroyed two perfectly good thumbnails just to get the labels off of my 5 new crate bowls. I'm serious folks......you better be prepared to put your patient face on and get out some heavy duty chemicals to get these bowls ready to use. Please note folks that the inside label covers the entire bottom so as to make it almost impossible to get a fingernail under the edge.....not that it will come up even if you do. As a top breeder of Cavaliers, it is always my pleasure to share our experience with products we like and recommend them to our adopting families. I will print a color picture and share website and descriptions & prices of products that we feel will be useful and put them into our puppy packs for our families. This product will not be included just on the basis of having lost two thumbnails and and a great deal of patients trying to get them ready to use. But just to be fair, they function well enough if you are willing to put up with the aggravation of getting them ready to use! And, keep in mind that we bought ours from Chewy where they were shipped direct from factory (no chance of anyone doing any label switching while on store shelves. You might want to rethink the necessity of your "aggressive" glue Snappy Fit! … more

  • Nice and Clean

My dog is prissy and when he used to have a water bowl in his cage he wouldn't drink from it because it was sitting on the floor of it and when he would drink he would get water on his mat. So I bought him this in hopes it wouldn't get everywhere and he would drink water throughout the day when I'm not home. It was a perfect buy.

  • Nice fit for Buffy's Crate

    By on

These kennel bowl's come in different sizes which are perfect for small puppies. They seem pretty sturdy even when she jumps on them, they stay in place. I feed her all her meals in her crate for now to get her used to the crate. To keep the crate dry I still give her water outside the crate, but will eventually use the 2nd for water.

  • Perfect for my pets needs.

    By on

I had been looking for something to put in a large crate that wasn't going to tip over or spill all over. Because this attaches to the side of the crate it can be adjusted up for taller animals or lower for the little ones. This bowl is stainless steel so it is easy to wash and dry.

  • Great for cage

I wanted to get a water bottle for my dogs cage but most said they leaked. I did some more research and came across this bowl. I am so pleased I found it works really well and is not overall huge so fits nicely into the corner of the cage so there us no spillage

Works great! They hold on to crates well, snap in and out easy enough for cleaning but stay in place where the dogs can't knock them out of the holder. Great and inexpensive for your dogs or the rescue/shelter ones.
