There are many stainless steel bowls on the market, but none like the Snap'y Fit Bowls! The Snap'y Fit patented system holds the bowl firmly in place and yet, allows easy removal. Pet parents have been frustrated for years with conventional water bowls because pets can dislodge the bowls and spill the food and water. The Snap'y Fit patented system solves this problem by locking securely in place with the grommet hanger. The bowls are available in 10fl. ounce, 20 fl. ounce, 4 fl. cup & 8 fl. cup (1 and 2 qt.) sizes.

  • Really like this bowl for crate.

    By on

I really like that this bowl is stainless steel & can be removed without having to detach the bracket from the crate. Sturdy bracket attachment uses 2 twist-on bolts to firmly secure. I got the 4 cup size for my large choc. Lab because I want it for the sole purpose of providing drinking water when I am out of the house & my dog is crated and I didn’t want it to take up much space since my dog fills his entire crate. Typically, he would drink out of the 8 cup size. Cons: yes, I agree w/ others that water does spill or splatter when you pull dish out from bracket. I fold a paper towel & throw into dish to absorb water to help prevent this when removing dish. I fold a paper towel & throw into dish to absorb water to help prevent this when removing dish. I have not personally experienced this, but I can see how the bracket could rust over time due to splashing while dog drinks (as stated in other reviews) since it is black painted metal (not stainless steel), but I am not too concerned about that as I remove dish to wash & dry between uses. I do keep empty, dry dish attached in bracket in crate at all times because the bracket is “C” shaped so the ends stick out into the crate (without dish attached) & could be a hazard for dog to hurt himself or chew on. I attached mine to the door of the crate so that when door is open, bowl does not take up any space inside crate. I never fill bowl more than half full so that i can open & close door slowly without spilling. I placed it just high enough so that his body fits underneath when he is lying down, but still not too high or awkward for him to drink while standing. I am very pleased with this design. I have been using it for approx. a month, now. I would buy it again & highly recommend it. … more

  • Not what I expected.

I ordered these because a friend had them and I loved the way they worked, they were also cheaper the the ones I originally was going to get. But it's a different design than the ones she has. The ones I received have a closed loop end her are open and straight. Mine are much harder to get on and always pop out. They also don't sit straight so it can't hold as much water as their supposed to. The welded part of one of the 8 I bought has broke and barely holds the bowl anymore. Wish I went with the other design as I don't see the others I've bought lasting more than a few months... I added a picture of the loop ends I was talkin about Versus the straight open ends in the main picture

  • Ideal option for doxie's IVDD recovery crate

    By on Top 100 Contributor

The 20oz bowl works great with the 30" Frisco Fold & Carry Double Door Dog Crate. It attaches securely and is made from good quality materials. As others note, it's not easy to snap a full water bowl in or out of place so we insert a porcelain bowl inside it instead without issues (which is more secure than other insert or hanging cup designs you can buy). This is larger than the recommend size for our 17lb dachshund, but is ideal while he's on 8 weeks' crate rest recovering from an IVDD episode (back issue).

Ok so normally against reviews on products that either A) were mediocre or B) ended up broken the next day due to one of my boys being rough. But I have 3 1&1/2 year old German Shepherd Boys and 2 10 week old Girls and they have not broken, bent, knocked over, or spilt anything from these bowls. Not only that but they are easy for me to see when they're clean and the price was fantastic. My brother in law whom gave me the two Girls I have went to a local store and not only payed the same price for an 8.oz cup made of a tan hard plastic but also ended up with something that 10 week old puppies are chewing they (of course they're starting to teeth) so yes when they are full grown I will invest Ok so normally against reviews on products that either A) were mediocre or B) ended up broken the next day due to one of my boys being rough. • Bad Design

    By on

Since the concept is to have the water bowl snap down into the half circle mounting ring, the bowl can easily snap out of the holder, and if you have two puppies playing in the crate a snap out is bound to happen leaving the floor of the crate and the puppies wet. I would also assume even a mild mannered adult dog can easily pop the bowl out if it bumps against it accidentally.

  • Very durable in kennel

    By on Top 100 Contributor

I had a water dish that had bolt type securing but my pup somehow broke it off(thank god the sharp pieces didn’t cut her), so I wanted something that adhered to wire differently. So far this has held up. The only(minor) drawback is when you take bowl out to change it tends to slosh all over. I’ve learned to put it back in empty then fill otherwise it’s goinv to spill lol

  • Good size for 35 lb dog & 36 in Crate

    By on

I ordered this for our ~35 lb Heeler Mix's 36 in crate. It is a really nice size for her. As other reviewers have mentioned it takes a bit of force to get the bowl off of its holder. But I would rather that than for it to fall and spill all the time. We use it for water, so it just gets the occasional wipe down to keep everything clean.

  • Good to make sure your pup stays hydrated

    By on

I wanted this to go inside my dog's crate so he could have access to water when in there without being able to dump water everywhere We have the 4-cup capacity bowl and it is a good width but overly deep. However, it is good for ease of removal and since we have it in the door water doesn't slosh around when opening and closing.

  • Much sturdier than others!

    By on

Other bowls I'd gotten to hang on my dog's kennel he could Easily get out of the holder - and then - he could get the holder itself off and into his crate. This one is much better designed, clearly with this sort behavior in mind - and it solved the problem. He can still, when he puts his mind to it, get the bowl out of the holder since it has to be able to be removed!! But it takes him longer and he often no longer tries. And the mount on the side of the kennel he can't dislodge. Recommend this product!!

  • Great weight and durability

    By on

First, the weight on these is perfect. Not too heavy not too light. We have a german shepherd, lab, Staffordshire bull terrier puppy who literally chews everything in sight so I know that these will withstand his teeth. Received in 2 days too.
