Great for "diggers" - BE REALISTIC!
Okay guys, let's use our heads: If your dog chews heavily on their beds, this, like anything made out of fabric, isn't going to work. It's not kevlar. This is, however, great for dogs who dig at their beds or pull at fluff. My puppy had a sheepskin-style bed for a few weeks, but that didn't last very long before he started digging at it and then pulling the loose fluff. This bed is still practically like new. We give him feeder toys in his crate and it's held up great even with all that activity. My only complaint is that it's not machine washable in a top-loading machine, which is pretty inconvenient. Otherwise, it's a great bed.
Sub-par at best
This was an affordable kennel bed. Looks and feels like a Kong bed but not the same durability at all. After three months, it’s in shambles from the puppy tearing it up. It did not last. If you have a chewer, look for something else.
Two thumbs up for Chewy!!
I was skeptical because my dog chews EVERYTHING, as puppies typically do. The description of the bed was comfortable, the price was affordable and it said it is chew resistant. Not only has this bed done what it’s claimed to do, it has surpassed it!
Absolutely No Durability
This bed lasted less than a single day with my dog. If you have a heavy chewer, this bed is the absolute last one to go with.
This product is quite durable, easy to clean with a quick vacuum and a damp cloth. Unfortunately, not very well padded in the bedding area so I added a small crate pad to make it a bit more comfortable. Requires a large capacity washer without agitators to be laundered which could be a drawback for some.
I read all the “ negative” reviews! I must say if your dog is a “destroyer” well don’t blame it on the bed blame it on a dog that has not been trained properly! I am 62 and I have had a Chow, Doberman, German Shepard and now 4 Pomeranians and honestly NOT ONE EVER CHEWED THEIR BED! So my conclusion is its the animal not the bed! A car is durable until you drive it into a tree so is it the cars fault or the drivers? Think grasshopper think!!! I disagree this is a good durable very nice pad/bed for a “ non destructive pet”!!! Im buying it!!!
I set it up for my dog the same day I got it and within a mater of maybe 10 minutes, he already ripped a hole in it and started pulling cotton out of it. I only bought the bed because it was advertised as Ultra-Durable. Aside from that, it seems like a perfectly fine bed.
12 yr old Terrier demolishes bed
My 12 lb terrier had it destroyed in a week:( I would like a refund! Not good.
Durable dog bed
My dog chewed it up over night! Not durable at all.
Not as advertised
Dog chewed it up in less than a week. So much for ultra-durable.
