MidWest Universal Crate Caster
Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again.
The MidWest Universal Crate Caster is designed to fit most wire crates by attaching to the intersection of any two cross wires. The casters provide portability and ease of movement with easy rolling, locking casters and come packed with two casters. Why two per pack? MidWest suggests that you use only four casters on crates 30 inches or smaller, however on crates 36 inches and higher, six casters may be necessary in order to support the additional weight.
Key Benefits- 2-pack universal locking casters.
- Fits all wire cages.
- Very easy to install.
- 2-inch easy-roll locking casters.
- Make any crate mobile by adding these casters.

Crate Casters
By Barb on Jan 17, 2021
By attaching these casters to bottom of crate I can move it into living room during the day & into bedroom at night - much easier than carrying it back & forth each day!

Be aware of the wire guage for the best fit
By Iggylvr on Aug 23, 2020
Installed perfect on my standard crate but couldn't use the second set of washers on my bigger crate with a larger guage wire. I have a crate that has a pad side and a bed side. The wire guage is larger so the grooves on the wheel brackets do not fully cover/close around the wire to screw them together. Got them to attach by excluding the nut washer. Love that i can move both of these crates around for cleaning or lock the wheels for my babies when we are out.

Very sturdy and handy!
By Saintlunatic on Aug 29, 2020
I added these to a small cage for my Chihuahua, The Mighty Hercules when he sadly went blind and deaf in 2018. Poor boy has to spend a lot more time in his cage now and these make it easy for me to move cage around the room to vacuum and mop the floors.

Caster set
By Vicki on Jan 16, 2020
I would never buy these again. Very poor diagram on back of package for instructions how to put them on my crate. I only figured it out after reading reviews . Plus bolts are too small and too tight to to casters, making it very difficult to put on crate. UnLess you have an immeasurable amount of patience, dont buy them.

They lasted two day before they kept falling apart and did not stay on the crate.

Nicer than I was expecting
By Debbie1976 on Jan 9, 2020
I put 4 of these, two packs, on a large wire crate of another brand that my Golden sleeps in beside the bed. They were easy to put on, with the directions. Makes the crate easy to move for vacuumIng. For moving, with a dog in it, it is recommended to have 6, not just the 4 that I like have on mine.

Great for c and c cages for guinea pigs!
By Aboygirl on Jan 25, 2020
My husband was the one to put them on and I helped him get the screws tightened up. It is best with 2 people. It is so great to be able to move the cage around! I am so glad to have found these and yes, I recommend them. :)

Pretty good
By kja19 on Nov 4, 2019
These installed pretty easily after getting the first screw started. I worried when I read some reviews saying they wouldn't tighten and would slide around. If they are installed over the intersection of two wires they cannot slide. The only problem I had was one of the flat plastic pieces has bumps on both sides so it won't lay flat. It is attached right now with they nuts barely on the screw. I will take it off when I have more time to see if I can sand it flat. One package looked like it had been opened and I wondered if someone had returned it for this reason. I was also worried when I saw the package. It is not exactly as pictured. It says recommended for "36" and longer" crates. Mine These installed pretty easily after getting the first screw started. Very helpful
By Kathymom2 on Dec 6, 2019 Top 1000 Contributor
I put these on a folding crate that I take to dog shows. Makes it easy to put everything in the crate and pull it along instead of making several trips. And they aren't so big that they get in the way when the crate is folded.
