It is comforting on the hands, but it only lasted less than 2 weeks as my dog chew thru it. When new, I was not too comforting on the traffic stop handle. It is too low for me as my pup is of the small breed. If he was more medium size or large, it may be better as that would reach my waist thus it is more easy to utilize.
I would definitely recommend this leash it is awesome. We own a pit and she can be dog reactive, I love that we can walk off to the side of the trail and I can keep her calm and close with the second handle. By far my favorite leash for my baby
We love this leash. Nice comfy handles. Perfect leash length.
I liked the concept of this leash - a nice, long leash for casual walking with a second handle to pull your dog in close, if necessary. Unfortunately, it did not work at all with a front-clip harness. The second handle is too short to hold out of the way and hangs down in front of the dog and drags along. It might work if clipped to a regular collar, or if you rig something (velcro?) to keep the short handle attached to the long leash when you aren't holding onto it, but I opted for a regular leash instead.
I have a 90lb make pit who can take me for a ride if he wanted to! He’s very well behaved and doesn’t pull unless there’s a situation going on with another unleashed animal. This leash gives me the confidence to feel in control and I know that my dog can feel that presence from me, if that makes sense. Just planting my feet and holding both handles when a situation where he may pull arises makes me feel way more prepared than before with a single handle leash and trying to hold the length of it. And I forgot to mention the handles are padded and they’re super comfy!! No more burn on your fingers. It’s pretty long so if you need them closer be cautious. He’s fine on a longer lead so we appreciate the length when he’s trying to do his business!
Highly reflective, and comfortable hand loops. Bought this leash because i prefer this type of carribeaner vs the type i have on my current leash im using. Close hand loop very useful when needed.
I love this dual-handled leash! My sheltie is fear-reactive and can be hard to control on walks. It is very easy to quickly grab the second handle and bring him in close to my side. The padded handle allows me to maintain a firm grip even when my dog is pulling hard. I even think he is starting to react less strongly, maybe feeling more secure next to me. The leash is very sturdy and a good quality. I also love the reflective stitching as many of our walks are later at night (those with reactive dogs know about this!).
Definitely a very slight leash that is not durable for bigger or stronger dogs. The handles are nice but the leash feels like it’ll snap if pulled too hard. Can’t see myself using it as it doesn’t offer much control.
The 6-foot leash is nice. Seems to be well made and has all of the features we thought we were looking for such as reflectivity and a street handle. The one thing we overlooked, and I guess they did too, is there's no D-ring at the handle for bag container. Strange, every other leash I've purchased has this feature. We are replacing this leash.
I love this leash. We rescued an 11-month old Great Dane and are working on proper leash walking. The shorter strap allows me to keep her next to my side when walking on a road, while the longer strap allows her to roam when we are in a grassy area.
