I have a 55 lb Australian Cattle dog , I’m 5’1” and my boyfriend is 5’11”. Would the 12” be suitable for both of us?

To determine which length (18 inch or 30 inch) would work best, we recommend measuring the distance between your pets collar or harness clasp and your hand. This should be done while you are both standing so it will resemble how close you will be while walking together.

Tooshortbutsturdy

This is so sturdy! The very best one I've ever seen! Way more than 5 stars on quality! Unfortunately it's just a little short. I measured before I ordered.I was disappointed but that's the way it works sometimes.

Love it, but a 36" length would be good.

I Wish this was adjustable in length, but not bungee. I really like the "traffic" leash idea as I need control walking along suburban streets with lots of distracted drivers. the 30" is a tiny bit short for my shorter dog, but I really like everything about the belt. A 36" to 18" adjustability would be great. and would reduce the need for multiple products. Honestly it could be lighter weight, thinner, for smaller dogs like mine, who are 14-16" tall and under 25lbs. I hope the swivel buckle is robust over time, I would feel better without it. I like the carabiner, but wish it had a threaded locker.

Sturdy leash perfect for times when maximum control is needed

We love using this leash when we'll be in areas where we need to keep our boy close to our side. He is still a very energetic big puppy and very strong. This leash allows maximum control - keeps him from getting any momentum. Very durable and easy to clip on...strong grip.

Works great!

I wanted a smaller leash because when my dog walks in front of me he continuously switches sides and zig zags in front of me. This leash keeps him right at my side!

Better than expected:]

LOVE THESE. Great quality. They feel well built and secure, but not heavy at all. The bright color and padding is a huge plus. I have 2 80lb dogs and I feel like I have better control of them with the short leashes.

Large Dog short leash

Because we have such a large dog, the shorter leash is best. The kids can walk him without him cutting in front of them or being ahead of them or in the street while they are on the side walk. I am still not sure about the connection to the harness. It helps with movement but I feel the regular leash hook is better. Only time will tell. Other than that the leash is sturdy and comfortable in your hand.

Weak spring in carabiner clip

I bought this specifically for the carabiner clip. Unfortunately after using it in the car for a 20 minute ride to and from doggie day care three days a week over the last two months, the spring in the clip has weakened. My 40 pound standard poodle has come loose twice now even though she does not fuss or dance around in the car. It’s too bad because I really like everything else about the leash but the weak spring allowing the clip to open on its own is a safety hazard. Perhaps this is a fault of this individual clip and not the product as a whole.
