The Mighty Paw Padded Sports Dog Harness was created with the idea that dog walks are one of life’s great pleasures. And so, this harness was designed to get the most out of every moment. Featuring a dual-clip attachment, you get the unique option to attach the leash to the front or back of the harness, depending on what best suits your activity. The front attachment offers a “no-pull” benefit for walking and hiking, while the rear attachment is great for running and connecting to car restraints. Comfortable and durable too, it’s the harness that was made for dog lovers by dog lovers.
Premium, weather-proof dog harness reduces the strain on your dog’s neck during walks.
Dual-clip attachment option allows you to attach the leash to the front or back of the harness.
Comfortable, non-restrictive design allows for natural shoulder movement while your dog is running and walking.
Adjustable straps for a perfect fit and quick-release buckles for hassle-free use.
Padded handle on the back of the harness allows for more control when needed, or in crowded environments.
To get the most accurate size harness for your pet, measure the girth of their chest, around the widest part of your dog's torso right behind the front legs, with a cloth tape measure. Pull the cloth tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, you can use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there's enough room for about two fingers between the harness and your pet's chest for comfort.
Doesn’t adjust at knock, after 2 weeks of daily use it’s unthreading by back clasp where u attach leash, threads are coming undone . It’s a little too big but if I got any smaller it would not fit around my dogs neck. I have a 68 pound American bully and I bought the extra large. The plastic clasp are hard to unclasp as well

I purchased this harness for the front leash clip option, and because it seemed like a sturdy option for my pushy lab. Other reviewers are correct-- the clips are difficult to open, they require strong fingers. My biggest issue is that the neck is not adjustable. The medium was too small for my labs ribcage, but fit her neck perfectly. The large is too large in the neck, but fits the ribcage. It moves around too much. Will have to return the M, the L has already been used so I guess I'll keep it.
Overall great, but wow are those buckles hard!

Over all I love this this harness. It's easy to put on, the reflectors are effective, and I love being able to attach the leash either in the front of her chest or on her back. But oh wow do I have a hard time getting those buckles open to take this off our dog. They are so stiff and hard that I really struggle to pinch them. I don't have arthritis or weak grip strength anything, they're just so darn stiff. I'm sure it's not comfortable for my dog to have me pressing against her side while I struggle with the buckles. If it wasn't for that, this harness would be perfect.

We have never needed a harness for our dogs but the new addition is quite strong and we thought a harness would be a good idea for controlling her leash time.
This is a good quality harness sturdy but seems to be comfortable on her. The padding is good and she doesn't seem to be rubbed in her armpit area with it, which I have heard people say that is an issue with harnesses. Would purchase another one if ever needed.
Look for a Different Harness

I spent a lot of time searching for a good no-pull harness. Even called Mighty Paws. I need to spend more time searching for a better harness. (1) Clips require mega strong fingers. I use adjustable pliers. I called Mighty Paws about this common complaint but the customer serv. rep. said she "didn't have any problems with the clips" (2) If you can figure out how to do it, the neck can be adjusted but plan on becoming really frustrated. (3) without a snug fitting chest plate, the front no-pull clip is useless. So you are left with a harness with the rear clip . If your dog is a puller, this will only stimulate the Oppositional Reflex. (4) both front and rear clips are on the smallish side. I spent a lot of time searching for a good no-pull harness. I have an 11 week old 21 lb pitt puppy. Gambino is doing great learning how to go on walks with this harness! And he's growing fast so the adjustments are a huge plus and the padding!!!! Would definitely recommend!!!

This is a great harness. My dog broke his last one by chewing it, but this harness is very strong and durable. The only thing is that you cannot adjust the neck part of it and there is minimal adjustments for the stomach part of the harness.
Fit is off

Bought XL for our 94 lb Golden Retriever. I measured him as suggested. The straps don't adjust correctly or enough. Around his neck has too much gap. Just doesn't allow enough adjustment. Chewys offered to switch it out for L but feel it'd be too snug at some point. So, better than nothing but will still be looking.
Not what I hoped

I wish I had read more of the reviews for this harness before I purchased than after. This is where I found many had the same issues I found.
I ordered a medium based on my dogs girth measurement and weight of 33 pounds. I did not realize the neck portion cannot be adjusted. So while it fit around her well, the neck is very loose so I cannot use the front clasp to attach the leash, she could slip right out. I also found the clips are VERY hard to unsnap. The 2 times I tried to use, I had such a hard time getting it off, I thought I was going to have to cut it off. I will not be using the harness again not only because of the fit, but I cannot work the clips to take it off.
Works pretty well

This harness does really help control my dog's habit of pulling. Overall I am very happy with the product. Only rate it 4 instead of 5 because the buckles are very stiff, hoping as I use it more the are easier to release.
