To get the most accurate size harness for your pet, measure the girth of their chest, around the widest part of your dog's torso right behind the front legs, with a cloth tape measure. Pull the cloth tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, you can use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there's enough room for about two fingers between the harness and your pet's chest for comfort.

Issues with neck fit and clasps
By Patty on Jan 18, 2021
I like the concept of this harness. The padding and the fit around the chest were good. There are a few flaws that caused me to return. The neck is not adjustable at all. I got a size large for my Australian Shepherd. I think the XL would have been too large. My biggest issue with this harness is that the clasps are incredibly stiff. I cannot open them. I had to get my husband to do it and even he, who has really strong hands, had problems. The clasp issue was the deal breaker. My dog didn't enjoy standing there while I was struggling to get the harness off of her.

So comfortable and effective, I bought a second one
By OMADAWG on Jan 19, 2021
Backing out of a collar is a typical trick of formerly free "pound puppies." My Sugar (40 pound pit bull mix) seems particularly talented at this move, in spite of her "martingale" style collar. Thus I bought this harness. It offers a soft surface next to the dog, a well designed and sturdy set of clips for ease of donning and removing, and the luggage handle at the top gives full control. It worked so well with Sugar that I bought another one for big (and bigger, 65 pound sister) Lydia. They both wear them all the time, playing, walking, and sleeping in them comfortably!

Sizing is off
By kara on Jan 9, 2021
After measuring my pup and referencing the sizes, I found that my pup fit her neck in a small and chest in a medium. I got the medium and she was slipping out while walking. I reordered the same harness for a small and the small is too tight. There is a significant size difference between the small and medium. I would stick with the medium but the neck doesn't adjust to make it tighter. So neither the small or medium will work for the pup. It is a great harness and I was hopeful for one of the sizes to work, but they do not.

Great product!
By JessR on Jan 15, 2021
I was skeptical when I purchased this harness since it said "No Pull" and that has always been an issue with our dog. This harness works like magic! When he gets to the point where he could pull, he let's up. When he is walking between my wife and I, he stays where he is supposed to stay and if he tries to pull away he immediately stops himself. Love this product because it makes walking the dog an enjoyable experience instead of a battle!!

Well made harness
By TimB on Dec 27, 2020
Pros- very well made. Sturdy clips. Chest adjustment that stays put. Nice to be able to walk the dog without the leash getting tangled around the dog's front legs. Cons- no adjustment for neck. That's all for cons. As it turned out for me, the medium "might" fit my dog better. Not sure. I didn't want to possibly be unable to adjust the chest large enough and keep the dog comfortable so I went with large. I am able to adjust the chest. The neck is kind of loose but acceptable. Maybe the medium would be too tight. My dog likes it. I just hold it in front of him and he pokes his head through the neck opening. It looks like it is pretty indestructible.

Great quality but my dog was between sizes
By 3dogmom on Jan 3, 2021
I love this harness to help keep control over my 1 year big puppy while she learns manners. But, she is 26-27" around and the lower size was too small and the next size up is loose. I am thinking she will grow into it, though. Nice feature is that she doesn't mind having it on, plus she's easy to see when I take her outside to go potty at night. We have bobcats, coyotes, etc., in the neighborhood so I always bring a flashlight, and this harness glows.

difficult to remove and clip on for leash wrong location
By goldenpup on Jan 15, 2021
Removing this harness is difficult clip doesn't release easily. The two clips to attach leash on harness are in wrong places for controlling active puppy. If you need to put coat on clip too far back then the under neath clip needs to be used where puppy can chew on leash. For controlling dog clips are not well positioned. I don't recommend for puppy.

Neck is NOT Adjustable
By mm6580 on Dec 22, 2020
I bought this harness for my 40 pound schnauzer mix who is very skinny but broad. He is very skittish and a runner and hates to have things put over his head. I bought this harness because I could slip it around his neck and it has a handle to grab him if he tries to run. I did not realize that the neck hole is not adjustable. I had a hard time opening the clips, maybe they loosen after a little while? But I returned it because it was too tight in the neck. I gave it 3 stars because the materials seem high quality despite being stiff.

Very well made
By FrankieDaFish on Jan 13, 2021
Easy on and off. Strong, comfortable material. Solid hardware. I saw reviews for another harness where the "D" clip on the harness where the leash attaches would bend or break. My dogs are about 80 and 50 lbs each and both are serious pullers and absolutely no worries as far as the "D" clip failing on this harness.

Fits well but one complaint
By JaynefromWayne on Jan 15, 2021
I know others have complaints about sizing and the fact that the neck is not adjustable but the large size fits my 84 lb. lab with her 20 in. neck just fine. Looks nice too. My only complaint is the plastic fasteners are stiff and a little difficult to unbuckle. Forget it if you have arthritic hands.
