Description

Love your kitty back with a thoughtfully selected, grain-free meal crafted just for him, like Miko Whole Ingredient Tuna & Tilapia Recipe in Consommé. The first ingredients are real tuna and tilapia, flaked into chunks you can see, and packed in a delicious, savory consommé. Pop open a can and you'll notice the difference—ingredients you and your cat can both recognize, a flaky texture that’s whisker-licking good, and extra broth for hydration. A complete and balanced meal in every can with added vitamins, minerals, and taurine, so you can feel good about filling the bowl with food that’s worthy of his friendship. And there’s never any of the extras you don’t want, like grains, wheat, corn, soy or carrageenan.

Key Benefits
  • Real tuna and tilapia are the first ingredients for the animal protein needed to support healthy muscles, and extra broth for hydration.
  • Complete and balanced meal in every can with added vitamins, minerals and taurine, an amino acid that’s essential to feline heart and vision health.
  • Made without any grains, wheat, corn, soy or carrageenan for a meal you can feel good about feeding your feline friend.
  • See all that broth? Foodies call it consommé, and it helps add extra moisture to your cat’s diet for healthy hydration.
  • Crafted with real ingredients you can recognize, and comes in a variety of delicious recipes and textures cats love.

Transitioning Tips:

Some kitties are picky when trying out a new food, so don’t worry if your cat doesn’t go for Miko at first, especially if they’ve been eating a lower-moisture wet food or kibble only. A little patience goes a long way. You can also try these simple tips for a smooth transition:

  1. Mix it up with a fork
  2. Try a meal topper
  3. Keep it fresh—always refrigerate unused portion and keep according to packaging instructions

    Fit for human consumption!

    By on

Scary how good this food looks and smells. I use it as a topper on pate and it's like I took my kitties to a 5 Star restaurant. Seriously, this food drives my cats wild. Will I order this food again?? If I don't want to be hunted down by my Pride! Try it you'll love it and so will your kitties!

Great for cats who like shredded canned food!

    By on Top 250 Contributor

Consistency: This has shredded fish flakes in a broth-like sauce (seriously, what is with cat food companies calling this "consomme"??). The shredded pieces are small enough that my cats didn't have to really chew them all that much to eat them, so this could be good for older cats with fewer teeth who aren't fans of pate food. Palatability: My cats loved this stuff! I could barely get it out of the can and into the bowl before they were mauling me. Nutrition: This has an average amount of calories for a canned food and basically zero carbs, so this is perfect for chunky cats or cats trying to lose weight. Value: Like a lot of people, I bought this because there was a deal on Chewy, but I can Consistency: This has shredded fish flakes in a broth-like sauce (seriously, what is with cat food companies calling this "consomme"??). Miko Tuna and Tilapia Canned Cat Food

    By on

we decided to try this to give our cats a variety of foods and they really seemed to enjoy it / they also liked the chicken flavors that we tried before / the only problem was the cans are sealed really good which is not bad but was hard to open the pull tab

    WATCH OUT FOR BONES.

    By on Top 500 Contributor

I buy the Poultry & Tuna variety pack that contains this food. My picky cat likes eating the Miko food - it's the ONLY food that she'll eat. However, with this Miko Tuna & Tilapia, I'm so skeptical to give it to her. I've found multiple bones in the cans that we have used. So, I have to look REALLY carefully each time I give this to either of my cats. That's my only complaint with this specific food.

    My picky eater LOVED it!

    By on

My fur baby loved this food. I didn't need to entice her with food toppers. Looking at the food in the can it all looked good and there was no overpowering smells. I've been trying to find a food that she will eat, so far this is a winner. I have tried MANY options and had to give more food away than I'd like, I am hoping her interest stays. The only reason for taking away a star is that the food is not manufactured in the USA and their info states they get the food from around the world.
