Transitioning Tips:
Some kitties are picky when trying out a new food, so don’t worry if your cat doesn’t go for Miko at first, especially if they’ve been eating a lower-moisture wet food or kibble only. A little patience goes a long way. You can also try these simple tips for a smooth transition:
- Mix it up with a fork
- Try a meal topper
- Keep it fresh—always refrigerate unused portion and keep according to packaging instructions

Great for getting old cat eating again!
By Starfish on Feb 18, 2020
First... Not only does my very old and ailing (and picky) cat love the taste and lick the whole bowl clean, but it also helps her feel better enough to also eat her normal canned foods, and even some of the dry foods I leave out for the kitties to nibble anytime. I am also excited that it is easy to mix in her powdered, tasteless medicine into the broth, and that the broth provides her so much more moisture than average canned foods. (I know some might be put off by the can having so much broth, but for an ailing cat, it really is beneficial.) My old cat also has a sensitive stomach. She is 18 and I struggle to find foods she will eat at all, and half of those she throws up ten minutes First... (I know some might be put off by the can having so much broth, but for an ailing cat, it really is beneficial.) My old cat also has a sensitive stomach. She is 18 and I struggle to find foods she will eat at all, and half of those she throws up ten minutes later. It makes her weak and even more unwilling to eat. That is why this Miko food in broth is so amazing. It helps her eat not only this, but also other foods as well and doesn't bother her sensitive stomach. This smells, and looks, so delicious, too. Not at all like "cat food". I swear I haven't eaten any, but I was sorely tempted. ;) I would like to say I would have probably never tried this at full price. It is a bit expensive compared to the average food we get, especially for the smaller size cans. However it was on 30% off sale when I ordered, and boy... Am I glad we tried it! The quality is just leaps above most cat food. It probably will never be our main source of food since we would go broke quickly, but I will definitely be keeping some of this on hand for days that my old cat needs a boost, or extra medicine dissolved into it. … more

Where's the chicken in this??
By mopsiecalopsie on Feb 17, 2020
These cans are made up of 75% liquid and 25% shredded chicken. My 6 cats wouldn't even look at it and they usually eat homemade cooked chicken. Or any other chicken cat food offered them. I don't know why they turned up their nose at this one. Maybe all the liquid. When put in a bowl you could not see the chicken for the amount of liquid in there.

Great buy on quality food
By Lulu on Feb 25, 2020 top50Contributor
My one cat loves this so much he jumps on the counter and tries to push me away so he can get to it sooner. At first I was worried he would get sick because he was eating it so fast- hasn't. Only problem is that he doesn't care for any other food now.

He loves the consomme
By Benjamin on Nov 20, 2019
Our cat came from the shelter. 1 year old and feral. And hungry. I gave him fancy feast chunky variety in sauce and he loved it! Then I was told that it was not good for him. We Love this cat! I ordered Miko, but it’s been a hard sell. He drinks the juice and, finally, in desperation he eats some of the meat. If it was chunky, he’d probably love it. We’re not giving up. Time will tell. He’s not starving as we have some freeze dried chicken and duck but we’re using it sparingly.

Cats really like it
By Diane on Nov 21, 2019
Both my cats really dive in. I mix it with the dehydrated Stella & Chewy's raw food. I like this food because there isn't anything 'nasty' in it like thickeners. Thickeners are intestinal irritants, and IBS-prone cats cannot have food with that in it. MIKO is one of the few canned foods that is clean without thickeners or other junk in there. My cat does very well on it, and she has a very sensitive digestive system.

Great cat food
By Jterrac on Jan 24, 2020
This is shredded chicken (like real chicken) in broth. My cats love it, and they are hard to please. I researched cat food before buying and this was highly rated.

Cat refused to eat it.
By Vicki on Dec 12, 2019
She took one sniff and walked away. I warmed it up in the microwave and sprinkled it with her favorite Chicken bites treat and mixed some in. Sometimes that will entice her to eat a new food. Didn't help this time. When she is fed a food she really likes she has no problem eating.

Kitty refuses to touch it
By Jazzy on Jan 13, 2020
This food smells very strange, kitty sniffed it and absolutely refused to touch it - even though i left her without any other food for the whole day.

don’t know why this food gets such poor ratings
By kilo on Nov 16, 2019
This food contains no fillers, has no cute name to disguise The fillers put in to increase the profits of large cat food manufacturers (and totally unnecessary to obligate carnivores.) my cat is gaining much-needed weight and has never turned down this food. The price can’t be beat, which is definitely a plus.

Very healthy and the cats love it.
By 4Kitties on Nov 14, 2019
My cats love Miko chicken and turkey flavors, but hate all of the seafood flavors. One of my cats that would only eat Deck Hand food will now only eat Miko, so I guess this is their new food. I've tried a few other brands lately and this is by far the best.
