  • Real chicken is the first ingredient for the protein to support healthy muscles, perfectly shredded and packed in a delicate consommé.
  • Complete and balanced with added vitamins, minerals and taurine, an amino acid that’s essential to feline heart and vision health.
  • Made without any grains, wheat, corn, soy or carrageenan for a meal you can feel good about feeding your feline friend.
  • See all that broth? Foodies call it consommé, and it helps add extra moisture to your cat’s diet for healthy hydration.
  • Crafted with real ingredients you can recognize, and comes in a variety of delicious recipes and textures cats love.

Transitioning Tips:

Some kitties are picky when trying out a new food, so don’t worry if your cat doesn’t go for Miko at first, especially if they’ve been eating a lower-moisture wet food or kibble only. A little patience goes a long way. You can also try these simple tips for a smooth transition:

  1. Mix it up with a fork
  2. Try a meal topper
  3. Keep it fresh—always refrigerate unused portion and keep according to packaging instructions

    Loved it at first

    By on

The ingredients are great and I was happy to finally be feeding my cat something that isn't full of fillers or fake protein (soy/wheat gluten). I got it as it was half off and for a few weeks, my cat loved it. He used to eagerly clean his plate, which was a first. Now he laps up the broth readily but leaves the meat. He rarely eats the meat part anymore and I'm going to switch and ask for a refund because I didn't catch the latest autoship in time. No sense keeping a food he won't eat. Overall I like the food just fine but once the novelty wore off, my cat stopped eating it. Might just be my cat so I still recommend it to other cat parents.

    Start with the Variety Pack

    By on

The is high quality cat food with an appealing smell, but cats are famously finicky, so if your cats are new to Miko first try the Miko variety pack so your cats can see what they prefer. I have cats who will gobble up any of the Miko fish flavors (whereas they turn up their little pink noses at Fancy Feast and other varieties). I also have one cat who believes that I am a goddess for serving him the Miko chicken varieties. He marches up and down like he's making biscuits when he smells it -- chicken and biscuits!

    Not what I expected

    By on

None of my 3 cats would eat this. They licked a little of the juice but that was it. The description said consomme...I thought it was going to be more of a gel. thickness..it was flakes in juice.

The quality of this food is great but my cat wouldn’t go near it

    By on

The quality of this food is great, but my cat wouldn’t go near it. I had to give it away. Cats are finicky, even with food that is high-quality like this one. Miko uses real chicken that is flaked. I thought she’d love it but she didn’t.

We’ll both cats drink the juice and they are done. Unfortunately I won’t purchase this item again.

    This one is a keeper

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

It does appear to have a lot of juice and some of the meat does need to be broken up a bit, but my kitties like it. It looks like real food.

    13 cats like it

I tried this because of the reduced price. My cat had multiple extractions and it's hard for him to pick up the hard food. This has a lot of liquid that he loves and he licks the food out of the bowl. I mix it with Fancy Feast classic and he no longer licks it right out the bowl but grabs the food as it is near the edge. I can't afford to feed my 13 cats this (2 are outside) but I mix a can in their food and put a teaspoon on top of the outside cats food. They all enjoy it. Yes it's costly but...my cats now eat all of the wet food and don't leave half or a third like they used to. Also, they are eating only half the dry food that they used to. So it costs a few dollars more it saves because I tried this because of the reduced price. My cat had multiple extractions and it's hard for him to pick up the hard food. Looks good , a lot of meat and juice but has a very odd smell. Not one of my three would try it, they just smelled it and walked away. Ended up donating it.
