I’ve been using these nail clippers for probably six or seven years now, and I’ll never buy any other kind. They work on the house cats all the way up to the livestock guardian dogs, and they cut like a dream. I prefer them to the orange handled pair from the same brand.
With moderately heavy home use (think all four paws on 10-12 animals every two weeks), I end up replacing them once or twice a year since I don’t have the skill set required to try to sharpen them. But they’re so affordable, and tossing a pair of them in with an auto-shipment every now and then is almost too easy.
No need for expensive, these work great

Was introduced to these when cutting nails on a friends dog. The cut was very clean and smooth. I have used several other types of nail cutters on my dogs and by far these are my favorite. Honestly, had I not used them before buying them I wouldn’t have bought them because I would have assumed the quality was cheap given the price. I was very wrong. Highly recommend these.
Perfect for my pups!
on Jun 5, 2021
I bought these clippers because my pugs nails curl into her paw pads and we always have to spend 15-60 dollars getting them cut by a veterinarian because a groomer refuses to do them for her. I love them because they are quick and easy, her? not so much. Tried them on my standard poodle as well, works just as well and his reaction was a little more extreme...a growl and a constant pull away. If you want to get these for your pups, i do recommend but they might not!!
Broke 30 seconds after I opened the package.

To start, the nail stopper in the back flails in almost a full 360, so you have to hold it in place up until the dogs nail is there. I held it still and opened up the clippers, then the middle spring fell off. I imagine I can still use them as normal clippers, but even then the handles are loose and wiggle around. Unfortunate that everything sponsored about these is what brought the quality down. I would rather get my money back over getting a new pair.
Work very well but get dull over time
on Jun 22, 2021
When I first bought these, they worked very, very well. Clipping went quickly even with my terrier who hates having his nails trimmed. They have gotten dull over about a year of use, and I need either to replace them or to learn how to sharpen them.

My dog's nails are thick and dark. I got these clippers and thought, there is no way these will cut her nails.. I was so surprised that they cut with such ease and precision! I've bought so many other clippers that seemed heavy duty, but struggled with each cut.. these are amazing! I'm ordering a second pair just to keep on hand. Yes, the guide bar keeps slipping down, but I just hold her nail where I need to stop the cut and that's that.. works fine. So, yes, just wow!
Clipper cuts well

This clipper cuts my 90 lb Labradors nails well enough. The clipper itself is light weight. The red handles do slide off when using. Next clipper I purchase will probably be bigger and heavier weight
Best Clippers Ever!
on Apr 21, 2021
As a lifelong dog owner and professional dog walker/caretaker, I am so happy to have finally found my most favorite nail clippers ever! These are deceiving at first, they are super lightweight and at first I didn’t expect them to be so powerful. They are also very quiet but the blade is nice and sharp and cuts through nails of all thickness. My dog seemed more calm during the process because they weren’t so loud. I will use this product for the rest of my life!
My favorite clippers

They are the sharpest and easiest to use as long as your dog's nails aren't too big. They are cheap, too, compared to others who are advertised as the best ever. Not. I keep several. They don't pinch (dispose of them if they start to lose their edge). Only one fault: the little attachment that keeps them from opening is so floppy that it keeps getting in the way while you are using them.
I wish they would make some so sharp in larger sized. Maybe it's the angle of the bevel?
These are the best for me

I am a groomer and have used these for 25 yrs. they are thinner metal so you can see what you are cutting and can take off a small amount of nail. The only thing I would change is the little thing attached to keep them closed. It gets in my way when using them. Otherwise these are great and stay sharp forever. I trim with these then smooth the sharp edges of the nail up with a dremel mini mite.
