As a lifelong dog owner and professional dog walker/caretaker, I am so happy to have finally found my most favorite nail clippers ever! These are deceiving at first, they are super lightweight and at first I didn’t expect them to be so powerful. They are also very quiet but the blade is nice and sharp and cuts through nails of all thickness. My dog seemed more calm during the process because they weren’t so loud. I will use this product for the rest of my life!
My favorite clippers

They are the sharpest and easiest to use as long as your dog's nails aren't too big. They are cheap, too, compared to others who are advertised as the best ever. Not. I keep several. They don't pinch (dispose of them if they start to lose their edge). Only one fault: the little attachment that keeps them from opening is so floppy that it keeps getting in the way while you are using them.
I wish they would make some so sharp in larger sized. Maybe it's the angle of the bevel?
These are the best for me

I am a groomer and have used these for 25 yrs. they are thinner metal so you can see what you are cutting and can take off a small amount of nail. The only thing I would change is the little thing attached to keep them closed. It gets in my way when using them. Otherwise these are great and stay sharp forever. I trim with these then smooth the sharp edges of the nail up with a dremel mini mite.
I’d buy them again

These things are great. I’m the proud dog mom of a cute lil Aussie who hates having his front feet touch and nails cute. Don’t get me wrong, I still have to spend like an hour with him each time hugging him and calmly telling him everything’s ok just so I can hold his toe for any length of time. The difference is, if I’m fast or sneaky enough, this clippers are clean. They don’t crush the nail and give a really nice, fast cut. As for those who say that the clippers rust in water, I’m sure they do. I used to cut my pup’s nails during his bath but have happily forgone that to keep these sharp and working quietly.
I’m a big fan. My dog...well, he’d send them back.
Complete Junk Do Not Buy!

This was supposed to be the sharpest and most convenient tool to clip my dogs nails. But it is so flimsy and “loose” that there’s no way that can be possible. I’d definitely stick with a more expensive higher quality item. I won’t even use it to clip my cats nails. It’s that flimsy.
Love these clippers

Seem very cheap in metal (but makes emm super light in the hand and easy for me to grip) and the red handle grips slip off but they are super sharp and loved cutting my labradors thick nails with them. Better then the orange millers forge ones I had previously
not what I expected

I purchased these as someone described them as "lifesavers" due to the fact that there was the nail guard. I have other clippers with guards but thought I'd give these a try. The nail guard is so loose as to be useless. There doesn't seem to be any way to tighten it. So, for me, a waste of money. I'll stick to what I use now.
ABSOLUTE BEST NAIL CLIPPERS FOR SCARED DOGS!

These are absolutely perfect you can definitely tell the professional veterinarians use these as well! My dog who is normally Really scared of stuff like this, remain 100% calling throughout the entire time I clipped all of his claws on each paw. (I may or may not have had him a bit distracted with some cheese, too.) Anyways, every time that you clip down on a call no matter how thick the claw may be, they are still almost completely silent with every clamp down motion. They are very sharp and definitely cut the nails very easily. Which is also a plus. The spring action handle is A1 and was a genius idea for these dog clippers! The spring is just another thing that makes this process super easy and a lot faster. Love love love these! I have two frenchies and I normally take them to the vet to get nails cut. I was very concerned I would hurt them if I did it and never tried. As they are getting older, taking them to the vet is no easy task since they want to drive the car to get there lol. I figured I would give it a try and was amazed at how easy these clippers were to use and honestly, can't believe I hadn't tried sooner! Super fair price and easy to use!

Best nail clippers ever! I’ve been a dog groomer for about 26 years now and will never use a different style! I’ve seen other groomers use those huge ‘hedge clippers’ with the orange handle on dogs and they scream! Not all but some do. This is just my opinion as I’m sure everyone has their favorite. But this one is mine for sure!
