Mimi Green Personalized Nylon with Metal Hybrid Buckle Dog Collar

Clasp failed.

I received this very well made and expensive collar about a month or so ago. The clasp just unsnaped and away ran my husky. I ordered 2 MIMI collars and the male parts of the clasp are different. The heavy duty metal hybrid with the short center tail allows the outer tabs to pull inward, releasing the clasp and away goes the dog. If you could use the other style, it would prevent it from opening. Then this collar would receive a 5 star review.

Nice collar but beware if your dog pulls!

I bought 2 of these collars for our new coon hound rescue and for a family member's dog. The engraving is nice and I think would last a long time, the collar straps are very vivid colors. BUT, in male part of the buckle is plastic. When the coon hound gets on a scent she pulls like the Dickens. Now 3 times the collar has busted apart and she took off after a squirrel or rabbit. For the other dog, he's very calm and the collar suits him just fine.

Too wide

I ordered the 1 inch size medium. The 1 inch is too wide for my little dog’s neck. The collar seems to be good quality. The engraving is very nice. I don’t know if I can return the collar since it is personalized.

I bought two of these for my leash trained goats 5 years ago. My goats can really pull when they get spooked and I’ve never had a collar failure. I’m thinking about replacing them now because they have gotten very dirty.

Terrible - Popped off

Do not buy this. This collar popped off by a busy road and put my dog in so much danger. Absolutely terrible. Clip is plastic. I am so angry.

Poor quality nylon

While the engraving and personalization on the buckle appears adequate, the nylon collar itself is quite poor quality. It couldn't even hold up to 5 days wear by our 7 pound, 13 week old puppy. In contrast, he wore a basic discount nylon collar for two weeks prior, which still looks new. We haven't even had this Mimi Green collar for a week and already need to replace it, since the personalized portion of this collar cannot be transferred to a new nylon collar. Very disappointing.

Perfect collar. Name take built in collar therefore, nothing hanging. Rather have the clasp than a buckle.

7mo old lab pulled and collar popped open twice, once next to a busy road , very scary. Definitely would not order again!!!

Clasp Failed

I have a service dog in training and she was wearing it when the clasp failed and she ran. This not only happened once but three times! I am very disappointed in the fact that I paid so much for this collar for it to fail.

collar is easy to come off

Bought this collar for our dog. The engraving is done really well but the point of a collar is you can walk your dog. It doesn’t even take much of a tug and this collar pops right off. Several times this has happen. Trying to keep him safe and it’s hard when the collar buckle isn’t strong. Very disappointed
