This styptic powder is designed for use on dogs, cats and birds of all sizes and ages. It is not designed for small animals such as ferrets, bunnies or Guinea pigs.
the product information states hazardous for humans....what is in it that is hazardous (I noted one reviewer used it on herself!)

This product is hazardous for humans when ingested. When used as directed it poses no hazard to humans.
Is this product supposed to be sealed with a plastic film under the cap? Or is it just supposed to be sealed by the outer box?

The container containing the product is not sealed, the outbox will be.
