How can you tell if they have ear mites?
Answer by ChewyDec 08, 2017
Symptoms of ear mites will vary. We recommend consulting a Veterinarian for the safest diagnosis and treatment plan.

What exactly are the directions on this product? Do I use the cleaner & Ear Mite treatment back-to-back or different times? My directions also said to actually put the cleaner in my cats ears then clean it out with a swab.
Answer by ChewyJul 01, 2021
It is recommended to use the ear cleanser first, applying with a swab and only cleaning the outer portions of the ear. Do not go down into the ear canal with the swab. Then use 10 drops of the ear mite treatment down in the ear canal. Wait 2 to 3 days. Then repeat this process. If the condition does not improve after 2 or 3 treatments, please contact your veterinarian for further advice and treatment.

Can I treat 2 cats with one box of R-7M?
Answer by ChewyJun 18, 2018
This product can be used on multiple pets as needed.

Is there a drying agent in it? Is it safe to use with ear relief with drying agent?
Answer by ChewyApr 04, 2019
This cleaner is designed specifically to help your pet get rid of the pesky parasites that can cause itching and inflammation in the ears. We recommend consulting a veterinarian before mixing supplements. Each pet is unique so we encourage you to seek professional guidance to select the best products along with their current health plan.

Check with the vet if you're using this on a cat

This is quite effective at killing mites in my cat's ears. The first treatment alone there was a mass exodus of mites from her ear. They didn't get too far outside the ear because they died. The vet said it's to be used with caution in cats because they're more sensitive to the active ingredient pyrethrins. It can cause neurological problems including seizures. Please be careful and stop it right away if you see changes in your cat.

Cat got a mouth sore after using this product.

Never used it again. Poison for cats.. I feel it's too harsh and not safe if they get it in their mouths.

the right box & the wrong treatment inside

I bought this as it stated it was specifically for cats and dogs. I received the package and just went to give it to my cats.. opened the box and had bottle of ear cleaner and bottle of the medication. The box states use only on dogs and cats, the bottles however are different and specifically state in multiple areas “for dogs only” and to not use on cats. Even the inner label on the bottles states to be used on dogs only.. so if I would have went with what the box said I would have given my cats medicine that they can’t have. Unacceptable from a pet company!
