Where does the source of glucosamine comes from?

Glucosamine rebuilds joint cartilage, improves joint flexibility, and reduces pain. The Glucosamine in this supplement is shellfish based.
For cost savings, I would prefer to purchase the 5 lb. bag. What is the refrigerator life once the bag's been opened? If it's less than 4 months, can I split the 5 lb. bag and wrap it well then place it in our deep-freezer until she is ready for it?

If necessary, we suggest that you freeze it for only a couple of weeks. Prolonged freezing of any food product denatures the nutritional components.
how is the formula fed to the dog? in water?

Can you give them two types of missing link at the same time. They are the hip and joint, but I would like to also give the one for Senior dogs. My girls are twelve years old

Love this for the probiotic

This has been our go-to for our active dog as a healthy joint supplement + probiotic. I actually love this powder primarily for its impact to her digestion. Her stools are noticeably better & more consistent when we use this. I've switched to other probiotic powders and just didn't see the same results. Bonus points for us that it helps maintain hip and joint mobility as she is very active. Highly recommend giving this a shot - and give it a few weeks to see progress. A 1lb bag lasts us quite a while (35lb dog) since the scoops are tiny. Makes this very affordable too.

Must taste great

Well this product must taste amazing for dogs and cats. Received product, placed on counter, left for airport. Husband came back and product was ripped open and devoured. Cat and dog teeth marks all over package and zero product left. None of the dogs or cats had diarrhea but photos my husband took of dog feces did have fiber granules in it. Ordered again and secured in locked cabinet. Starting again, stay tuned.

So far so good

I've been adding this to Albi's meals for a little over a month now, and I can see some changes. He definitely has more pep to his steps and doesn't struggle as much with getting up and down the stairs. I wish I had found this product sooner. Will update later.

Helps aging dogs at a local dog rescue.

Item was donated to a local dog rescue to help aging doggies that were not adopted and rescue cares for them as lifelong pets. This product gives them a longer, more comfortable and active life.

The only supplement my dog will take!

I’ve tried at least 3 other top brand chewable dog supplements and he literally won’t eat them. This stuff is amazing! I just mix it in with his food and he eats it all!

This stuff is amazing!

My vet recommended this product for our Labradoodle, Sadie, who plays way too ruff with her sister Nala and ends up hurting and just not feeling good. I mix a tablespoon of this powder in her food daily, she eats it up and after just a few days I noticed a difference in her attitude, how much better she's walking, playing, and just getting around!! She's back to her feisty self and kicking her sister's tail. BTW Nala is a Belgian Malinois!!! They play pretty ruff and get really noisy but it's all in wonderful doggy fun. I highly recommend this product for any pup that just needs a little boost in their bones!!

Real change

I decided to try this supplement after my girl wasn't doing well and was limping and scoring around instead of walking. I had tried some other supplements, but she didn't like them and wouldn't eat them. I also tried a liquid supplement, but found it too razorback long term and we didn't see much of a difference. I decided to try this powdered product and while she's not crazy about the taste, it really has made a difference. She no longer struggling like she was, limping or scooting because she can't stand. She's able to get around so much better now. She's even been able to jump in my bed again, which I'm not crazy about, but happy that she's back to normal.

Joint Supplement

My dog really enjoys the taste of this powder, had 0 issues introducing something new. He's only been on it for about 1.5 wks so can't say I've noticed much of a difference yet. He is 14.

Great product for elderly dogs

I have 2 senior cotons, 16 and 17. They sleep most of the day but in the morning they are racing around the house with great enthusiasm! They have been getting this supplement a few years now and I credit it with their sustained mobility. They love it too!
