The product seems great in all the nutritional benefits, however my cat had a literal gag reflex the first time he tasted this, and now won't touch it at all. seems he REALLY hated the flavor! The powder smells sweet, almost like molasses and though he really wanted to eat the food this was sprinkled on, it just wasn't appetizing for him. I will be Donating so perhaps another kitty can benefit, and I might try the other feline formula instead.
Mixed this easily with their can food. No problems trying to get them to eat it. We also use the dog Missing Link products, and really like them!
I do not recommend these at all. I bought this for my cats and the kelp dog one and avian one for my dogs and birds. I wish I didnt buy any of these, its cost me a fortune in vet fees. One cat is highly allergic and has lesions from scratching, it caused my other cat to vomit after each feeding. Vet confirmed the cats are both allergic to ingredients in this. My dogs and birds also became sick after using missing link products.
It's a great food topper, some of my dogs like it and some don't but I just add some salmon oil on top of it and they eat it right up.
my cat initially brought this back up so I reduced the amount in her food. She does not like the kelp. She will gladly eat my Garden of Life Raw Fiber with probiotics - less flax and no kelp.
