This has been fantastic for my "senior" birds

    By on

I have several parrots, cockatoos, african greys, conures, and parrolets. The bigger parrots are all over 20 yrs old The sun conure 27, the cockatoo 28 yrs old. They were beginning to look a little lack luster. Colors werent as bright, some sparse feathering. Picking on the chest and shoulders a bit. I decided to sprinkle this onto all of their dry seed mixture. Although birds do not have saliva, they like this grainy powder. I see them eat it. It has truly been a remarkable difference over a 3 month period. The plumage on the sun conure is like he was 3 again. Vibrant colors and thick. The cockatoo is lush and bright white looking. No more ragged edges. Smooth. They all like it. I have several parrots, cockatoos, african greys, conures, and parrolets. My birds mess up their water a lot and waste the water vitamins. Inexpensive. Easy to sprinkle on food. I don't even measure. A couple of pinches depending on who's bowl it is. Even the tiny parrotlet eats it. I couldnt be happier with the very obvious, positive, results. … more

I raise Society and Green Singer finches. None of my finches will eat this. Even tried putting it in their drinking water.

    This Deserves 10 Stars!

    By on

Many of us who have dogs are familiar with Missing Link for dogs. Fortunately the creators of Missing Link came out with a formula for birds. The product is just as it is named, the missing link not found in the ordinary food we find in pet stores. My Gloucester canary, society finches and Peach Faced love bird are thriving on it. I can see it in their feather condition, their personalities and general physical condition. I am so grateful Chewy offers this for our birds.

    Good stuff

I have a rescue parrotlet and his feathers were pretty much plucked when I got him. A friend suggested this and he appears to like it. Too early to tell if it helps his plumage yet.

    Missing Link

    By on

Our 43-year-old African Grey Parrot loves this supplement. He's a fussy eater so we were pleased because we've been trying lots of different products...this one did the trick!
