This product is a dry granular powder, nitrogen flushed and vacuum-packed for freshness to protect its precious nutrients. • Effective!

I tend to be very skeptical of supplements, both for my dog and my horse. A friend recommended this after I told her about my dog's chronic dry, itchy skin. It's relatively inexpensive, so I decided to give it a try and I've been really impressed with the results. Within two weeks he's stopped licking and scratching completely. Friends have commented on how much shinier and softer his coat has become. I'll certainly be keeping my dog on it as long as I continue to see positive results.

I have a really itchy dog, this was recommended to me by PetSmart. I found it at Chewy. SO GLAD - We've only gone through ONE bag, I swear he doesn't itch anymore - used to he'd sit in the middle of our walks just to scratch. This is perfect, I sprinkle the correct amount on top of his dry kibble, mix it with a little warm water - It makes gravy - He eats it up.

  • Helped a recovering rescue with multiple skin problems

    By on

I adopted a dog who had previously had a very bad case of fleas, was a nursing mother, malnourished and had an active skin infection that required antibiotics. Her fur was quite coarse and itchy. I started giving her regular baths and adding this supplement to her food. And while I think multiple things helped (no longer nursing, skin infection gone, fleas done, etc.) I do believe that this supplement really was part of the key! Her fur is very soft now, she sheds less, itches FAR less and gets lots of compliments on her shiny coat. :)

  • Not for us

So my dogs been really itchy and chewing herself making her coat all a mess. Mind you she’s a black goldendoodle. Usually she has an amazing coat. I got this stuff to try and help with fixing her coat. However, it’s done absolutely nothing since I started her on it two weeks ago.

My dog has been eating this supplement with no problems; however, her scratching has not been reduced. It’s been a couple of weeks. I plan to give it more time and will repost. If this works, it will be the best deal for this type of product on the market.

  • Shiny hair

Have only been using this for a couple of weeks, so can't give a complete review, but have noticed a decrease in scratching and condition of his hair seems to be improving. He loves the powder and gobbles up his food once it's sprinkled on it.

  • Works as advertised

My golden has happily enjoyed this product since 6 mos old and everyone remarks how soft and luxurious her coat has been. And very little dryness of her skin. I have to assume its due to Missing Link. She is still itchier than I'd like and apoquel has worked well but I'm stopping that. Too expensive and maybe not good in the long run. I'll stick with Missing Link as it has been safe and effective and not overly expensive.

  • waiting to try soon so no real rating yet.

I think it's horrible that we all have dogs with dry skin, allergies etc. I firmly believe we need to try different higher end foods until we find one with all the ingredients necessary for their nutrition of body inside and out. Between bathing too much and the wrong foods these poor animals are suffering and the vets no NOTHING!! I have finally found a grain free food that my dog does well on but feel she can still use this supplement as she has had coat and skin issues for too long. Hopefully I've found a winner in Missing Link!
