this feed has garlic, rosemary, etc. Don't these products taint the milk?

The small amount of garlic and rosemary in Modesto Milling feed does not effect the milk. In fact, rosemary in the diet of lactating goats has a positive effect on nutrient digestibility and milk yield. Goats love garlic and it is used in Modesto Milling feed for palatability. Garlic also can improve energy status of dairy goats.

This feed can be fed to whether goats. Keep in mind the metabolic urinary calculi when feeding any male ruminate grain.

Feed at a rate of 2-3% of the growing kids and mature goat’s body weight. Feed with good quality hay. Provide plenty of clean, fresh water at all times.
