By Rachel on Sep 2, 2021

They lay eggs consistently with a hard shell. Great organic, soy free and corn free food!

    Best Feed Ever

By Marbles on Apr 28, 2021

We are newer chicken owners. (Just hit 1 year!) We try to buy only organic foods for our birds. After all, they make us Food every day!! Amazing. Our chickens love this feed and we love that all the unnecessary and harmful ingredients have been omited from this particular feed. We also lacto ferment the feed to make it even better for our birds.

    Our chickens LOVE these crumbles!

By CarolNM on May 6, 2021

Our chickens couldn't be happier with these crumbles, they sort of hum when I pour them into their feeder. They are laying beautiful, tasty eggs and did so through the winter. The 25 pound bag is very manageble for me (5 foot, 100 lbs). The subscription service through Chewy is excellent and I never run out of feed and have to scramble to obtain more.

    Sadly mostly DUST

By guineafowlmom on Apr 1, 2021

Love the that the ingredients contain NO corn, or soy. Still I find problems with Modesto Milling poultry products. I've tried the Pellet form but the pellets are way too large, and their Crumble style is mostly just useless dust. In fact the crumbles are SO dusty that the only way I could find to feed this was to add water and serve it wet. I do really hope that this company will work on both of these issues for us bird lovers. If they do, I'll certainly want be a long time customer because I do love the organic ingredients and the lack of corn and soy.

    No love for this brand

By LDJG on Jun 1, 2021

Unfortunately and despite it being organic, my chickens did not take a liking to it. Had to give it away.

    Half Crumbles & Half Dust!

By Lizzy on Mar 1, 2021

My hens seem to like this but almost half of the bag is completely ground dust. Very wasteful and will be switching to the pellets instead.

    My chickens LOVE!

By Jeng on Dec 16, 2020

I live in one of the coldest parts of the country and need a good quality feed. This is the best I’ve found so far. Just read the ingredients. My Brahma chickens are hearty!and eat whole grains. I keep a feeder with commercial food in it at all times. They never really have liked any of the brands I’ve tried and just nibbled. Except for this, they gobble it up!

    Very Dusty

By Mary on Feb 7, 2021

My first bag of this was okay, but the second bag we received was like 50% dust. Our chickens wouldn't eat it, and most of it was totally wasted.

    Best so far

By ChickenLittle on Oct 30, 2020

We've tried layer feed from 3 different feed mills in our area as well some regional and national brands. This is the best we've found. Good ingredients, physically it looks better (no dust or broken down crumble), and the hens seem to really like it. So does our Rooster when they let him eat. It's not cheap but with our 10 chickens it's manageable. The eggs are outstanding.

By MsChicken on Feb 8, 2021

I like that this is organic and has good ingredients, but I can’t get my chickens to eat it.
