If the pigs ribs can be felt through a slight layer of fat using gentle hand pressure the pigs is in ideal condition. If the ribs cannot be felt, the pig is too fat and the diet should be adjusted accordingly. Provide plenty of clean, fresh water at all times.

HUGE IMPROVEMENT IN MY PIG'S SKIN
By ZeninAZ on Feb 6, 2021
I have been feeding my pig Mazuri for almost 2 years and her skin was always itchy, crusty and she always had pig "rust". I just switched to this food and with a couple of days my pig's skin was no longer rusty and crusty. I am shocked how quickly my pig's skin has improved! I highly recommend and I will never go back to the other brand.

While my piggy eats palm tree seeds and whatever else she finds in our yard she loves this food and seems to do well on it.

great quality food
By Wilma on Aug 30, 2020
My mini pig loves this food and so am I. I ran out one time before I got my refill, so I went to the feed store and bought an “organic” substitute while I got mine. The urine was yellowish almost brown and it smell horrible. When my pig is in this food her urine is clear and doesn’t the smell is not even close to the other food. I feed her one cup three times at day and she looks pretty healthy.

Very Happy Pig Mom!
By Nicole on Apr 2, 2020
I live in a somewhat remote area, there isn’t a feed store locally that carries a good quality mini pig feed. I cannot tell you how ecstatic I was to see Chewy was now carrying the brand I’ve always wanted to feed my piggies! Not to mention the auto ship option! I mix this feed along with Scratch and Peck and they are happy and healthy.

Mushu & Kalua love it!
By KatHaas on Mar 12, 2020
My husband is a professional chef and our piggies are used to being spoiled; we decided to incorporate pellets as the main source of their diet to help cut down on expenses but still meet their nutritional needs and provide a well-rounded diet. We weren't sure how they would take to pellets after getting fresh, organic fruits, veggies, and other foods but they really like it! As soon as they hear the measuring cup dip into the pellets, they are up and alert with tails wagging. We especially appreciate that Modesto Milling is organic. We still give them greens and fruit as a treat, but the pellets are now the mainstay of their diet.

Very happy we made the switch!
By Lori on Apr 11, 2020
After the first week, our two pot belly pigs’ coats are noticeably more shiny and soft. My girl is a picky eater so I wasn’t sure how she would respond to the new feed - she loves it!

Add water to prevent chocking
By savannah on Apr 16, 2020
My pig love these pellets but you do need to add water if feeding in large amounts. You may also sprinkle them around to add some exercise.

Great Food for Adult Pigs
By Lyndsie on Mar 14, 2020
I am so happy Chewy is carrying this food now. I have tried other foods in the past including Muzuri and Sharps and this works the best for us. They are able to digest it and there skin is less dry.
