Useful if you don't want to carry around a poop bag by itself

This is a pretty slick idea and it works well. A airtight vault that you place a bag, maybe two of poop as you walk, rather than carrying it alone or leaving it to pick up later. It does seem to keep the smell out. We like it for hiking with the three Whippets so we can just place the bag inside and keep walking till we find a garbage can. Even transporting in the car, this is a lot nicer than having poop/bags inside; yuck. Comes with a very nice clip for the belt and a carabiner to use for hanging onto other objects.

Is your dog the kind that will poop like .5-1 mile in on a long hike? Mine is. I hated smelling the dog poop for literal hours while finishing our hike. Then, someone told me about this. Let me tell you, it's a GAME CHANGER. Now my pup and I hike happily with no poop smell. I've told everyone I know that has a dog about this. It's so simple, yet so needed. If you're even thinking about getting it, do yourself a favor and buy it.

Best thing ever for poop!

I had been either tying her poop bag to the leash handle or carrying it, neither of those made me happy (the smell! A swinging weight on the leash). This is perfect! It can clip to a belt or on the leash so you are hands free. There is no smell! The vault says it’s good for dogs up to 55 lbs, mine is 70 lbs and there is no issue with volume.
