Are there any petrochemicals in the formula for this frisbee?
Answer by ChewyFeb 22, 2022
This toy is made from a proprietary natural rubber compound that is engineered to be as strong and indestructible as physically possible. These dog toys are made with a unique natural rubber compound that is 100% safe & Non-Toxic, tested and verified by a 3rd party, and unlike most "durable" dog toys, they aren’t made of hard synthetic materials like plastic or nylon, so they won’t splinter and won’t harm your dogs dental health (not to mention your floors and furniture).

Best so far!

I have 3 dogs. Two of those dogs LOVE playing fetch with frisbees. They will not use rigid plastic or fabric frisbees, they have to be rubber floppy ones. The red Kong frisbees we normally get are destroyed after a week as the two dogs would play tug with the frisbees. We have had this one for about a month and there is no holes or missing chunks, it is a little heavier so doesn't fly quite as well, but I would 100% take that trade off every time. If you have dogs that play tug and destroy frisbees that way I would recommend this frisbee. I do not know how it stands up to just a chewing dog, but this is the best floppy frisbee I have found.

Best Frisby Ever

Our dog absolutely loves this Frisby. He has learned to throw it himself and fetch it. He is entertained for hours and if you happen to throw his favorite ball and the Frisby at the same time he chooses the Frisby everytime. Because it is so durable and flexible he will even play a little tug of war with it and he has so much fun. He brings it with him every where in the yard and in the house and there are no teeth marks. He is 8 months old so everything goes in his mouth and chewed and destroyed but the Frisby has held up!!

Doesn’t seem like the same product as before

I purchased this dog toy originally about a year and a half ago and it lasted so well. I re-purchased this and within a week there were already teeth marks and little pieces of the material missing so I have to assume that this is now made out of a different material and not nearly as durable as it used to be.

Best disc for the money

It took my pit bull a full year to even begin to wreck this disc. Flies understable for any disc throwers and glides great. Super soft easy on the mouth of the dog and anything or anyone who gets hit with it. I would buy more than one just to have multiple so when the doggo hides one your good to go.

Indestructible (almost)

My lab mix and shepherd are SUPER CHEWERS! These are the first and only toys they haven't been able to destroy (even though they've tried)!! Lab will gnaw on the disc trying to tear it apart, sounds like a toddler with a pacifier lol. Shepherd LOVES the disc/frisbee, lab mix LOVES the ball. If left alone with the disc Bear can eventually get some tooth marks in the edge, but takes a few hours.

Sort of Heavy

This is much heavier than I thought and because of the very dark color if it sits in the sun for any length of time it gets super hot. Hot to throw and hot for our Enzo. I can see where it's pretty indestructible because it's pretty heavy.

Tested and not indestructible lol!

I have a heavy chewer. He managed to chew the entire edge around the frisbee. It is a smaller frisbee now. Not indestructible but it kept him busy for awhile.

Most durable we have found so far

Our dog loves to play catch with frisbee...he always brings it back and we only use frisbee while supervised, but somehow between catching it and bringing it back he inevitably rips a hole in the middle of his frisbee. Our go to is the Red Kong frisbee, because it flies the best while generally lasting for a month or two before going from frisbee to ring toy. Durability: The monster K9 has lasted a little over a year, and the most he has managed are a couple of tooth indentations. If I were to let him sit down and gnaw on it, it would most definitely be destroyed, but has stood up to general wear and tear of fetch and tug beautifully. Flight characteristics: It is overstable (any disc golfers out there) and not especially floaty. Your dog has to be quick to get to it on time, but if you are powerful enough (or throw with a slight anhyzer) you can get it to carry a decent way. Not good for short floaty throws. Would be cool if they came in different colors.

Do not buy as a chew toy....

Might be a good frisbee, but for any dog that chews, no way. Destroyed in 10 minutes. Don't waste your money!!!!!

Super tough

Lula loves this frisbee! Not too big, easy to catch, and it flies nicely. When it's time to go outside she stares at the top of the freezer where I keep it. No toy is really indestructible so take it away when you're done playing. Lula's tough on toys and this one has already lasted longer than all the others.
