Really works
This mat really does work and I have 2 cats. Any tracked litter on my carpet is very minimal, hardly noticeable at all. Wish they made one a little larger to accommodate the newer automatic cat boxes.

This mat truly traps the litter. I used it with world's best and Dr. Elsey's crystal litter and about 95% of the litter gets trapped. Also much easier to clean than any other mats are used. Specifically, before this one I used the one that look like a flat sponge. Its hard to clean them. Also, I used the rubber ones with spikes, they do not trap litter at all. I am buying second one to completely cover litter box area.
It's okay, but........
It does catch litter pretty well. But it opens on two sides and it is kind of flimsy, so it's easy to spill the litter when trying to empty it into the litterbox or garbage.
Works well!
This litter trap mat is huge! It works really well in trapping the crunchies and reduces tracking. Holes are large enough to trap granules and keep my floors looking clean.
does what it says
I got two of these to replace older litter mats. These easily capture the litter (I use that Worlds Best cat litter, if you need to know grain size), but the holes are big enough to fit larger grains. Anyways, it's easy to empty the litter that's still good back into the kitty box. I got both the brown and the black. The brown helps hide litter better/blend into wooden floors, where with the black the litter is more obvious (I say this because if you have lower vision, black might be great because you can see it better). Anyways, a decent price in comparison to competing brands.
What an improvement!
I used to use an old kitchen mat under the litter box. Result was a lot of litter tracking. The Blackhole has reduced litter tracking by about 90%. Yay!
BEST Litter Mat I have ever owned
This mat is GREAT! It collects a ton of litter (none of which goes on my carpet) I would suggest the larger size as I think some litter gets wedged in their toeses and when they walk 2 or 3 steps on this mat, it comes off their paws better. I love it!
