It was time for us to eliminate our gross old dog couch from our living room, which is where she spends a great many hours. It does not appear that her feelings are hurt. I love that this dog couch came fully assembled, and it's cute. It is barely big enough for this 60 lb. dog, but she has been using it in a variety of positions.
This dog bed/sofa is nice looking, & lightweight. It came fully assembled and was not damaged in any way. We bought it because our girl was starting to show signs of joint pain. We wanted her to have a bed that she didn't have to jump up/down for, or get up from floor level from. She loves to nap on our bed, in our recliner, and on her dog bed. This sofa bed actually looks like our recliner, in color and arm/seat shape, so we thought it would be a hit. Not so much. It was certainly easier for her to get in and out of it. She was excited to get in it the first day, and actually napped in it for a bit, but hasn't shown any enthusiasm since. In fact, she just will not get in it. We have put her favorite blanket on it, as well as ours that she loves to sneak onto. She will only take a treat over to it, (always takes her treats into her bed) but will only eat the treat while she's standing in front of it. She will only get in our bed and on the recliner now, since we took her old floor bed away. I don't know if it's not "soft but firm enough" for her, or why she just doesn't like it. The seat/bed part of it is softer than I thought it might be, but it doesn't seem to be so soft that it flattened under her weight. We bought the large size. It fits her just fine, as she's standard poodle size, 65-70 pounds. She can't stretch her legs all the way out in it, but she prefers the curled up sleep position anyway. It's really nice looking, though. At least it matches our furniture. ;)
My schnauzers love the doggy couch Bought it for my tiny girl but my bigger girl loves it too
