I have large bullies, and this is the perfect treat for them. They dont care how small they are, its the crunch that keeps them nudging the snack jar.
My 13 lb dachshund loves these! He will do anything to earn what he calls a "chicken leg". He begs for them and can even show you which bag they are in. He does chew and crunch these which is good for his teeth. They do not stink and don't make his breath smell, actually they probably help clean his teeth and make his breath smell more pleasant. They are small, but not too small for him to swallow whole. He doesn't even try to swallow them. He chews and savors every bite. There are a lot of these in the bag and I will definitely buy again for him.
Each bag contains a lot of quail feet (I would guess close to 100 per bag), and my dog absolutely loves these. For those complaining about the green color of some of the feet, some are dyed for USDA inspection but are perfectly fine for consumption (according to the Mosaic website).
These were something new and fun I had not noticed on chewy before but I won't repurchase again. My dogs ate them the first time but after giving several times afterwards they won't touch them. I would NOT recommend these for dogs any bigger than 10lbs (if that) as the feet are teeny tiny. My 18lb dog broke the foot in half and then pretty much swallowed. Also, not quite sure why some of the feet are green.. But if you have a tiny dog you sure do get a lot of feet in this bag.
I heard that duck/chicken feet are good for dogs to clean their teeth... My dog is 12-14lbs and she could never finish the duck feet I would buy for her so these are perfect. She eats them and her breath is so much better.
