This is terrible to use as a tooth cleaner for dogs. It is WAY TOO THIN to even put on a toothbrush and has the consistency of water. I cannot even get it in either one of my dog's mouths. I went back to Oxyfresh Dental Gel. It is actually a gel and really helps both of my dog's breath. I absolutely would NOT recommend this "gel".
I have 2 senior shih tzus. One has terrible arthritis in his jaw when the weather changes. I thought I would try this as a supplement to his regular meds to see if it eased any tightness for him. Plus both furbabies could use fresher breath. They hated it at first. I put it on my finger as it is extremely drippy. Off and on for a few months. They never took it. Then one day I put it on a very small piece of bread. After a time or two they ate it!! It worked! It really did freshen breath, clean teeth (must have been the licking). And best of all it did help it the pain in my senior dogs jaw! He no longer had a problem chewing his food when I gave this to him about 10 minutes before a meal on a tiny piece of bread. Just a drop. Terrific product!
Be careful when applying, as it is very thin gel (or “thick liquid”) and pour all over you. Pour carefully onto the brush so it doesn’t spill over, let the brush absorb it, and then apply to teeth. But my dog seems to like the flavor, and it’s minty so it does a good job. Given the price for the size, I would recommend for those patient enough to adjust to the liquid-y texture.
I have given my dog Mr Groom OxyGreen Oral Hygiene Pet Dental Care about the month and he enjoys it daily. He used to have bad breath, but after just one application - it's gone! Using it daily helps keep his mouth clean and healthy and I enjoy have a Cody by my side for his fresh breath.
Have been using Vets Best and thought I would try this. It’s not a gel but liquid and no way able to use even on a brush let alone on your finger. Called you and the staff that answer the phone sounded like l was bothering him. The products are 100% guaranteed and have been using Chewy for a year. A monthly order average of $80. Be aware if you order this. .
My dog use to have really bad breath. After cleaning his teeth, I started to use the Oral Gel daily and noticed a huge difference on my fur baby's breath. Highly recommend this product; it is so easy to use.
