    Yes but ..

I like this bag for my sphynx- I wanted something a little smaller than her travel bag to take her out in. The backpack feels fine when I wear it with her in it, but I wish it was a little sturdier. It does collapse a little bit which makes her nervous. I will probably add something inside to keep it from collapsing on the sides. I do not think I will be carrying it as a back pack with her on inside unless my hands are completely occupied.. which will come in handy for our park and beach picnics. she also seems to roll around in there if I move the bag too quickly... which can be scary when she’s on my back. She’s also only 6.5 lbs :p

I got this for my 11.5 lb dachshund mix puppy who hasn't had a chance to be out in public as much as he needs to feel comfortable. Being carried in the backpack gives him a safe spot he can look at strange dogs from without getting overwhelmed. The backpack is quite roomy for a dog his size, and I put a towel in the bottom to allow him to look out the top. He can turn around in it just fine and can reach over my shoulder to take a treat. The backpack is a bit large for me (I'm 5'5") but distributes the weight pretty well and I can feel when my dog moves around or trembles, so I feel like I have a good handle on his body language/mood even though I can't see him. I went with a slightly larger carrier because I wanted to make sure he had enough space, because from sternum to hip he measures about 17 inches long, which is an awkward size: this works well for him. The stiff construction of this carrier was also a bonus; the bag won't collapse on him and the bottom is solid. The bag itself is also not too heavy. I haven't had it for too long so can't speak to how durable it is, but for now I'm very satisfied with it … more

    Good but not great

By Kendra on May 5, 2021

Study for 7lb cat, zippers are strong and love that it's made in the USA. Doesn't stand up on it's own/falls over empty and the cat can tip it over.
