Mr. Peanut's Gold Series Expandable Airline-Approved Dog & Cat Carrier

I bought this carrier after looking at a LOT of carriers online, watching videos, reading reviews, everything. I'm a new pet owner so I am doing my research before I purchase anything. I bought this for my two small kittens (about four months old) and they both had plenty of room on a 12-hour car trip. I loved it because I could expand the side of it and give them more room to stretch out, even when strapped in with a seatbelt. The best part, for me, was all the zippers. It allowed me to pop my hand in and pet them while I was driving which helped soothe them... and me, let's be honest. I felt good knowing my kittens would be comfortable on such a long trip. My kittens love this carrier so much! It’s so nice and it’s good looking too! I leave it around the house and they love to play in it or sleep in it. They love chewing on the zippers and other parts of the carrier and so far it’s held up, even with their sharp kitten teeth. I would not recommend putting two cats in there at a time. I have 2 kittens and one adult and the kittens can fit just fine together but when they get older they won’t be able to. It’s nice because where I live it gets very sunny and hot in the summer so having a flap at the top is nice so the sun can stay out of their eyes. The lining on the inside is really nice! Definitely would buy again!

After doing much research and reading many reviews for this and others, I was Ultimately disappointed. When the flap is left open, the top is so flexible that it collapses. Then the puppy wouldn't go in. And when she finally did (I put her in), this 2 pound puppy with tiny teeth was able to calmly chew a nickel size hole in the mesh within a few minutes. Also, the expandable side (there is only 1) doesn't support itself and it doesn't stand up fully, so no tiny dog would want to go into that part! NG

I measured the carrier upon arrive all, and all measurements were shorter by more than an inch on all sides, resulting in the carrier being too small for my cat. My cat is very large at 15.5 pounds and thin, so he has a lot of height and length, but he would have had just enough room if the measurements were accurate. Returned. Chewy was very helpful with the return! Disappointed in the product, I had my eye on it for awhile.

This carrier is better quality than the American Airlines one that I previously purchased. It's more sturdy, the cat can NOT pull up the velcro'd floor like he can on the AA one, and the cat loves the extra room when off the plane on layovers. The one thing I would change is that you have to open the extra room from the inside of the carrier. With a cat especially, having to reach inside with your arm allows the possibility of escape.

We traveled with two kittens from DE to MN by car. The kittens really loved their carrier. My daughter then traveled by plane to CO with one kitten and it was perfect. Love all the openings and the storage pocket. I am buying another for my cat.

I purchased this for a friend who was flying out to pick up one of our puppies. He was the largest puppy in the litter and would be flying in-cab under the seat on Alaska Airlines. I loved this carrier! The well-thought out features are ideal. The expanding side is useful as either a pocket or expanded area. The additional pocket accommodated his paperwork, some potty pads, a leash, and a biscuit. Both ends open (a major plus) and the top flap opens if you want to pet the pooch or let him put his head out. My friend was thrilled when I handed the puppy to her in such a lovely carrier. I may buy one for myself to carry our cats to their appointments.

I was a little concerned because the height was more than the Jet Blue allowance . There was enough room for Darla and it’s sturdy with the extra panel area . I had returned a different brand which was way too small. My cat is about 9 lbs

It is AWESOME! I was trying to put 2 pomeranians in it, but didn't fit. It is great for a up to 12 lbs.

This airline approved carrier made a long flight with my cat work so well, expanded it underneath me, gave some extra room. Held up well!
