These gloves work great for my cat. He has a short, thin coat and doesn't shed much. Regardless, he tends to over groom and as a result has frequent hairballs. To top it off, he's not a fan of any kinds of brushes we've tried so helping him groom has not been very successful. However these gloves have been a game changer! The rubber coating does a great job at picking up and holding the hair onto the glove when petting my cat. An added plus is the Velcro around the wrist - my partner has large hands and wrists while mine are small, so the Velcro helps with keeping the glove on!
I had purchased another brand of thes gloves and was upset when I lost them in my move. I usually love Chewy products but not this one. The nubs on the gloves are too small for my dog to get that massage feel that she likes and doesn’t hold the hair well for brushing. Sophie is not a longhair dog but constantly sheds. I will use till I can get the older type.
I wear a medium glove and these are like a man's large. They are also not sewn well, as the nub side is twisted sideways on the fingers. This and the large size make them fit sloppy.
Purchased these to help bathe pup... this particular brand is a lesser quality than expected. Almost seems like a knock off to the genuine product. Not comparable to other Chewy products.
The gloves are not that durable. One glove is already tearing after I opened the shipping box.
They’re not going to keep your hands dry, but they definitely help you get a nice lather going in the bath. It takes up a lot of my dogs excess fur and he doesn’t seem to mind when I use them at all. Overall a good and sturdy product I would recommend them to others!
