Is the lip 1/4" or 1/2"? The description says "one quarter inch" but the dimensions are given as 24x 16 x 0.5.

The thickness of the mat is 1/4 inch with the lip around the edging adding another 1/4 inch. It's total height would be 1/2 thick, including the edging.
Is the mat flexible like Can I roll it for travel

Good quality

Needed a washable mat for feeding our mini poodle. We feed home cooked with puree pumpkin gravy so controlling mess is necessary. This mat is flexible, not heavy, and stays put when placed on floor. It is very easy to wipe or take to sink for scrub. Completely solved our feeding mess concern. Unobtrusive mat, fairly priced, highly recommend. I bought one for each dog and for under water dish.

Not the greatest..

I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a mat for under the dog feeder and I needed it to be a certain size so I was limited on what I could get. This mat is a good size, very flimsy and EVERYTHING sticks to it and it’s almost impossible to get it off the mat. I finally broke down and use the hose attachment on the vacuum cleaner to try and get the dog and cat hair off the mat. It got a lot of it but not all of it. When you wash it be prepared to let it air dry. If you dry it with a towel or paper towel it sticks to it. I’m going to continue to use it because it’s helping stop water getting on the floor. In the meantime I will continue to find a way to stop things from sticking to it.

Great, easy to wipe clean

Put this under our bigger breed dog’s raised bowls. She’s messy w food/water and the smaller placemat our little dog uses wasn’t cutting it. Its easy to wipe clean then every few days wash with soap and water.

Just the mat I was looking for

This mat is the right size for the food bowls and a bowl of water. Nothing slips on it. It is protecting my floor from the water my cat spills when she drinks. I'm very happy with this mat!

Decent. Wish it was a harder material so it doesn't flop everywhere

It's a decent mat but I wish it wasn't so flimsy. whenever I have water or food bits and need to bring it over to the sink, it's hard to keep them in place. I wish it was stiffer so it wouldn't fall.

This one is great

The last mat I got was too thin and my cat tore through it in a few days. This one is great though! It stands up to my cat's pawing (claws out, of course) while she drinks. She can't tear it. I even like the color better too.
