I thought my cats would love this and their fur would be nicely groomed. WRONG! I had to force them to stay with me. One cat clawed me, ouch. My other one yelled until i let her go. On top of that when I was able to brush them the glove didn’t pick up the fur. I tried to return them, but was told they were not refundable. I am going back to the comb. Ironically my female cat puts loudly when I brush her with you hair brush and it even picks up her fur and leaves her coat shiny.
Lots of static
on May 15, 2019
My cats (currently) refuse to sit still and let me use this on them. There is a lot of static when "petting" them with it but once I pull my hand away from their body, the loose/removed fur falls out all over.
I love the idea of the glove but it doesn't seem to work well for my short haired kitties.
Good for a top coat brush!

I like to use this glove after I’ve used a de-shedding brush to get under my cats coat. He definitely knows the difference between this and being pet but he doesn’t get annoyed as quickly like he does with the comb. It gets a lot of hair off but it doesn’t pull as much as I’d like in one sweep, that’s why I did 4 instead of 5.

It works good but my cats don't want me to touch them with it. So I have to sneak while I'm petting them and put it on just to get it done a little bit. LOL!
Perfect for shedding

My dog was scared of a normal brush but he lovessssss this. It does a great job of getting all the loose fur but not traumatizing him
Great for puppy King Charles Cavalier Spaniel

My 3 month old Cavalier has been shedding so much. The brush I had wasn't doing much but I just used this today as a normal brush and oh my it picked up so much fur and left his coat looking so good. Yet to try it for a bath but I am sure it'll work well!

My dogs never sit down and let me brush them with a brush but honestly they never mind when I use my glove!! Highly recommend!

I am extremely happy with my purchase of this brush. Only downsize -- you still need bag or trash can to put the fur into.
works, but not as it claims

It doesn't get nearly as much hair as it claims but it works good and for a cat who doesn't like being brushed this works great because he just thinks hes getting pet.
Not Munchkin's choice
on Dec 15, 2018
Munchkin, our rescue baby we bottle fed, now 8 yrs. is spoiled and picky. We hoped this glove would eliminate some of the shedding indoors. He did not let us use it on him much, and when we did, he did not like it. This was a one time only with him. He still likes the brush with the silver prongs on it. I cannot say the glove does not work. It does not work for us. I think the glove loses the personal touch that a loving, over protective cat wants from the "parents" he loves. I personally do not think the little prongs are long enough to get to the skin to massage it and pick up the hair. The plastic is also hard.
