By far, Gumby is her favorite toy
If your fur baby is a chewer and loves to destroy the squeaky, this Gumby is definitely for you. He lasted all of about 45 minutes. The squeaky was out and in two parts (fortunately I found both) and Sadie managed to pull all the stuffing out of his upper body. I don't have the heart to toss the little green guy just yet. I gave the 4 star only because he only lasted that long. LOL
I love Gumby
Kevin loved his Gumby toy, he was a little disappointed at first that the squeaker is only in the head a little difficult to squeak, but he has fun with it even when his big sister tried to take it from him it surprisingly stood up to the tug of war that followed (Beagle vs Rotweiller)
Not for Aggressive Chewers
The toy that I received with my purchase was hard plastic and not like the toy pictured. My dog is a miniature poodle and she's an aggressive chewer. She was very excited to get this toy, but within an hour, my husband and I had to distract her to get the toy away from her. She had chewed pieces of the plastic toy and we had concerns for her safety. With our distractions, we got it away from her and threw it in the trash. The plastic Gumby was cute but the one that we received is not like the one advertised. If you have an aggressive chewer, don't purchase this toy.
AMAZINGGGG
My dog LOVES this toy as soon as we got it she immediately started chewing on it. She would not put it down she would bring it everywhere. I got it because I loved Gumby as a kid and now she does too! This is her new favorite toy I know now to get rubber toys! The kind of problem is that the face is coming and the toy is kind of ripping a little.
My Morkie Loves It
As soon as it came and I gave it to my 6lbs 9month old aggressive chewer he loved it... he takes it everywhere.... usually he destroys his stuffed toys in 10 minutes or less this one is holding up so far... love it and reminds me I love Gumby from my childhood days (nostalgia)..... definetely would recomment....
Gumby Gone
Within minutes, my dog chewed off pieces and I was worried about him choking. He swallowed some of the small pieces and it was hard to get it away from him. This toy is not a good choice for canines who like to chew.
Who Couldn't Love Gumby?
I bought him because he was a childhood favorite, and I knew my little Romeo would love him too. If nothing else, he is a keepsake. Now I need "Puff The Magic Dragon" or Cecil of Cecil & Beanie. I loved Cecil. Baby Boomers had toys that taught them to use their brains.
An old favorite
This is our 2nd Gumby because I think the first one is buried somewhere in the yard and that means she treasures it and it's kept in a "safe" place. lol. Good value and held up great.
Great toy, but not for aggressive chewer
I bought 2 of these knowing my big baby would destroy them. I don't care, she has fun and has toys she doesn't destroy But honestly she still loves the toy even after removing the squeaker lol super cute and great size. It says extra small breed but it is honestly great for even a medium size dog.
Well made and chihuahua approved
We love our new Gumby buddy. He even rode into battle with us (aka, going to get neutered.) Great little toy!
