Poor Quality Dog Toy
Took Tags off and handed to our pup KoCo. in about 10 minutes or less, we see the fuzz stuffing on the floor in a couple places and also the squeaker tube. KoCo was mopey, sad that her baby was broken. She loves her stuffies, Chew Toys, Squeakies. She is not a shredder or destroyer. Treats her stuffies like her babies and they last and last. I'd recommend removing these toys from your sales shelves ..... unless this toy was either defective. Respectfully I ask for a full refund for this poor quality item.
My dog's fave
He loves Loofa dogs! His first task is to remove the small squeaker from the head. Doesn't take very long. Next is the big body squeaker. But since he is 15 now, he hasn't removed the body squeaker from the last toy. I think he doesn't have the energy any more. He does squeak it a bit, though. His hearing is not good at all, but he definitely can hear the squeaker!
This “ dog toy “ should be taken off Chewy’s site !
. My 5 pound Yorkie rescue was so excited when the Chewy box was delivered …when she saw this toy which is twice her size she was dancing ..then she started playing with it and took it into the family room….about eight minutes later I she her with white stuffing in her mouth and two holes in the toy … REALLY ???…( not even worthy of one star )
This toy is dangerous
Poor construction and stitching makes this toy a dangerous one. My mini-dachshund was able to open and remove the transparent plastic squeaker in minutes, even under close supervision. He had the squeaker in his mouth and thankfully, spit it out when we commanded, “leave it!” Had we not been right there watching him, it could have been tragic. Do not buy this toy!
Not Daisy’s Style
Daisy the Great Pyrenees doesn’t think this is anything special. It was a nice big size. It squeaked. She just didn’t think it was worth her time. I can’t even tell you how long it lasts for a chewer because she refused to chew on it. If your dog likes Loofa Toys this is probably great. Daisy just wasn’t impressed.
I Should Have Read Closer
It's totally my fault for not reading closely that this is a PLUSH toy, but our Great Pyrenees mix had this thing torn apart within 30 seconds. Our house looked like a cotton ball factory had exploded. When I read "Loofa Dog," I assumed (bad idea) there was a loofa inside, not wads of fluff. It's a great toy if your dog isn't prone to ripping it apart, but I'll be a little more careful about ordering next time.
Not in the least bit durable
My dog are not particularly hard on their stuffies and in fact have a stuffy similar to this one that is three years old. I just received my order of two of these (jumbo) today and within in one second (no exaggeration), a slight tug between two of my pups pulled this toy in half. Within the next 30 seconds, the second one also split. Do not recommend these unless your pup is toothless.
Not the best quality
After removing the tag, the toy split open on the back exposing the stuffing after a few minutes of my dog playing with it.. wasn’t very expensive so you get what you pay for. I added it to my order to make the amount needed for free shipping on the rest of my order. Was still cheaper than shipping so no love lost
Our Dog Has Loved This Toy For Years
Our small female dog who is now age 13 has loved this toy since she was a puppy. Of course, we have had to replace them now and then. They do tear after a time. Our dog loves it so much, though, that she now holds the toy very gently in her teeth. She enjoys playing tug and fetch with it. She picks out this or her bouncy ball when it is time to play.
Only lasted 2 days :(
BEWARE - Apparently my boy liked this toy way too much. I thought it was well made until the plush started to come off in small patches and the plastic tube that was not part of the squeaky started coming out. I took it straight way and threw it away immediately. This was only after 2 days after I recieved it.
