Do not buy these. My dogs LOVE a slingshot toy, so I bought 5 of these. All 5 broke before my dogs even saw them. One didn’t even have a bungee in it at all and had the head attached to the body like it was a tag. Weird. The other four broke when I barely pulled the head to try to see if they worked. Well not at all. Such a waste!!!!
My puppy loves it very much. But the string on its tail came right off. The string is falling everywhere. The cloth will not tear by the force of the puppy's teeth.
I have a blue heeler/sheperd mix that loves fetch, and this toy is perfect to launch in the house without worry about touching the "gross" parts from his spit or it destroying something if it hits something. Unfortunately, as much as he loves this toy, the past few we've ordered have broken within maybe 10 minutes of play. The toy self-decapitates; the elastic or whatever it has inside to help actually "launch" the toy snaps, and the head flies in one direction while you're left holding the body (and your dog is left confused on whether to fetch the head or to remain focused on the body still in your hand). The rope tail, I've noticed too, has gotten smaller and smaller, leaving less and less to actually hold onto to launch the toy across the room. My dog still loves it though, even when its headless. However, had he still been in his younger years when he was more fixated on destroying toys, this one would not have been worth the money since the body is, also, made of pretty cheap material. Great for dogs that aren't obsessed with destroying their toys, perfect for indoor fetch games, but keep in mind that it might not last very long (or, at least, may be headless after a short while).
The toy broke within 10 minutes of playing with it. Dog liked it though
I bought this toy a month ago and my dogs can’t control their excitement when I bring it out. The toy isn’t the sturdiest and won’t hold up to heavy chewers. I will put it up when its not being used because it would be toast in seconds if left out.
This toy is just hilarious! My dog won’t put it down except when it’s being launched!
This is the 2nd one I have bought. The 1st one is still in good shape except Darsi decided she wanted to chew off the piece of fabric that you hold to shoot it. That one I had for over 7 years from our Mitze. This new one is just as good as the 1st one and I make sure that I put it away after we're done playing.
I have many of these. I take one everywhere I go! Best toy ever
I’ve bought these many times from other places. The two I bought from Chewy were TERRIBLE. The first one broke as soon as I took the tags off and tried to launch it. The second on lasted about 5 launches and the head popped off of it. I’ve only ordered from Chewy twice and have been very satisfied with everything except these two toys.
My 12 week old Corgi puppy lasted about 1 hour before completely destroying this toy. He loved it... a little too much. It rips every easily so it is not safe for a puppy to play with it alone.
