Why should I include vitamins & supplements in my pet’s diet?

Most commercial pet foods include baseline vitamins and nutrients, but some may not have the adequate amount to suit your pet’s exact health needs. Really need to upgrade the packaging

By Petparent on Oct 14, 2021

Just received the product and have yet to try it but as several reviewers have stated the packaging needs attention by someone in the company that cares. The ziplock fails after the first opening due to the particulates of the product inside. Be prepared to transfer it to a different air tight container upon receipt. For the price it would seem they could put it in a screw top container and save favor with it’s customers. I purchase several supplements for my dogs. Not one comes in a ziplock bag.

    Cheap Packaging a Problem

By DoggyMom on Aug 17, 2021

I bought this on the recommendation of my dog's physical therapist. Frankly, I can't tell if it's benefitting her at all. She is deteriorating but perhaps this product is slowing that down. No way to tell. HOWEVER, I am extremely disappointed with the lousy packaging. As another rater mentioned it has a seal like a Ziploc bag. But the seal comes off the bag quickly. My most recent experience was that it failed in less than a week. So I have to transfer the powder to another air-tight container. Given the price of this product it seems to me they should definitely provide high quality packaging. To sell what they tout as a high quality product in such cheap, low-quality packaging makes no sense I bought this on the recommendation of my dog's physical therapist. Too early to tell

By PasoPerson on Aug 23, 2021

This product was recommended by my veterinarian for my 14.5 year old Samoyed. He has progressive weakness in the rear, and she thought it might help him, as other clients have tried it with some good results. He has been on it for a couple of weeks - no big changes yet. The manufacturer says that it can take 6-8 weeks to see results, so I am still hopeful. On the plus side, he doesn't mind it in his food, and there have been zero GI impact. (a good thing with a heavy coat dog!)

    MY DOG LOVES IT!!!

By Katherine on Aug 2, 2021

I ordered this for my 11 year old Doberman. Within the past few months, he's stopped jumping on the bed and has a difficult time getting in the car, so after reading the reviews, I thought I would try it. I ordered the small bad to make sure he could tolerate it and he does. He loves the taste. He hasn't been on it long enough to notice a difference, but I ordered the large bag this time. Hoping to see results soon.

    Thought it would help more

    By 1111 on Jul 15, 2021

I bought this product as a recommendation from my Chiro vet. As expensive as it is I was excited to try it. Needless to say I was disappointed. It is made with eggs and must be kept in the refrigerator. Because of the eggs, my girl who has constant GI issues, was met with a ton of gas. I decided to take her off because it really didn’t help her at all and it caused a lot of disruption to her intestines because of the ingredients. So if your dog has a sensitive stomach or G.I. issues, I do not recommend this product.

    So far, so good

By MoodyBend on Jul 17, 2021

My dog Freddie is 14 and losing muscle mass, as most older dogs do. He is still very active and I want him to continue to be able to go on hikes with us without getting fatigued. I started this supplement only a week ago so I am unsure what the results are as of yet. It is easy to add to food, it seems palatable, and it makes me feel good knowing I am doing what I can to help Freddie age with some grace.

    Night and Day change

By IanP on Jun 26, 2021

We have an 11 year old Mini Schnauzer. Who used to be always on the go. Then he developed arthritis in his hips. Followed by diabetes a couple of years ago then cataracts from the diabetes. He was wasting away and we had seriously discussed how much longer he had with our vet. Then I found MYOS. He's been on it just 2 weeks, but it's like he's a new dog. I showed our vet a video I'd taken of him since he's been on MYOS and her reaction was and I quote "Oh my gosh! He looks amazing! I am so happy to see him like that! :-) Thanks for making my day!" Our vet had recommended we try MYOS prior to us using it and I'm so glad she did. Not only does it work and quickly! Dogs seem to like the taste We have an 11 year old Mini Schnauzer. Really working

    By Brandi on Jun 22, 2021 top500Contributor

My dog got injured ACL this Feb( took ER)also talked with surgeon.recommended TPLO surgery and we chose to Not. It’s not because cost it’s because risk of side effects in the future.we did read tiggerpoz site and decided CM. Now June .she is walking normally no limp, and my primary vet had scope the knee told us her knee is 100% OK. But she lost muscle especially around hip area from lot of rest time. Someone who has dog had PRP for their dog’s ACL recommended MYOS. Tried many supplements but I swear MYOS and antinol .people says it’s expensive however 1 session hydro Therapy is more cost than MYOS on my area! So price is not bad at all if think the way.

    Vet Recommended & Works!

By Ashley on Jul 21, 2021

My orthopedic vet was happy to see I put my dog on this supplement--I definitely have noticed better muscle definition in my dog, who has early hip dysplasia and osteoarthritis. It's important that she maintain her muscle mass especially in her rear end and this supplement has helped with that along with a good fitness program.

    Bouncing back from IVDD

By Flapjack on Jun 5, 2021

My 11 year old beagle mix was laterally recumbent 5 weeks ago due to a likely disc issue. She lost a lot of muscle in her top line and hind legs while she was down for 2 weeks. She has been on this supplement under the recommendation of our vet for about 3 weeks and the difference is enormous. Her muscle is coming back in full force and her coat is absolutely beautiful. We have combined Myos with a swimming regimen and our girl Georgia is walking and running(ish!) again. I'll continue to keep our girl on Myos for the foreseeable future and 10/10 recommend for pets like Georgia.
