    Good--for now

    We got this pen recommended by our breeder to put outside as a convenient destination while house training. It practically assembled itself straight out of the box, and it is quite sturdy and just roomy enough for Leo to take care of his business and walk the fence line. It practically assembled itself straight out of the box, and it is quite sturdy and just roomy enough for Leo to take care of his business and walk the fence line. He has figured out the swinging door after only four or five days, but he won't be able to get through it for long. This is a temporary solution because Leo is a male Golden, now 9 weeks, and he already stands up on his hind legs and can peer over the top. He will be able to jump it soon, but we hope he will be house trained before that happens. … more

    Nice but not great

    I wish I never gave away my metal play pen a couple of years ago. This pen is esthetically pleasing and goes with my room decor. HOWEVER the panels are hard to move. The door is super tiny. My puppy is 5 months and has to practically crawl to get out. why do they have retriever in the pic? He can't I wish I never gave away my metal play pen a couple of years ago. My puppy is 5 months and has to practically crawl to get out. why do they have retriever in the pic? He can't get out unless he hops out. Which brings me to my next negative. My puppy at 10 weeks could easily climb out of the pen. I don't leave him alone long but if I have to go to the other room to get something he's already out of the pen trying to follow me. He's a little older and stays in now because he knows I will be back. They should make them vertical slats so they can't hook their paws in. … more
