Give your pet his very own paw-sonal space with MyPet’s Extra Wide Wire Mesh Gate. Designed for those extra-wide openings in your home, this wooden gate is ideal to keep your pet safely contained. This gate is 32 inches tall and uses pressure mounts to easily and securely keep it in place—that means no hardware or drilling required! The rigid vinyl-coated brown wire mesh panels easily adjust to fit openings in your home that are between 29.5 to 50 inches wide. And best of all, the frame of the gate is purposely designed with a neutral color to help keep your walls clean and free of marks.
Ideal for wide openings, like the entrance to the kitchen or living room.
No hardware needed to secure mounting so it's easy to setup.
Position gate, and lock it in place, it's really that simple.
Side bumpers don't mark walls this is great for rental properties.
Adjusts to fit extra-wide openings 29.5 - 50 inches wide and is an extra tall 32-inches high.
Measure the width of the opening where your gate will be used.
While holding the gate with the locking bar toward you (numbers will be upright), lift the locking bar and slide the locking pin into the slot that matches the opening size.
Push down on the locking bar. This should put pressure on the 4 rubber bumpers holding the gate in place. If the gate is still loose in the opening, move the locking pin to the next slot until you get a good, solid fit in the opening. Do not force the locking bar down. This could put too much pressure on the gate, causing damage to your opening, the gate, or both. (The locking bar will have a slight bow. However, if the bow is large, ease off one slot, making sure it still has a good, solid hold in the opening).
To open the gate, simply pull up on the locking bar.
The gate is sturdy and the wire grid is very good. It takes some use to master the tension bar when you remove, enter and reinstall the gate.
The gate was as specified, but I personally would like to see a taller gate (maybe 48 inches high). The reason for my concern is that cats can easily jump over this gate. It should work for small dogs.
Very hard to operate and flimsy

This gate may not be what you are looking for if you need to walk through. It's very hard to adjust and not very sturdy
Just what I needed

Have large dogs and this keeps them out of area a they do t need to be in. We'll made, will stand the test of time. This is our second one as we wore the first one out. Highly recommend this product.

It does the job and it looks nice. My only complain is the instructions are nor very clear, you can open it if you lift the upper bar, and it is easy to do it.
Btw it is pretty tall too, so make sure this is the one that you are looking for

This worked very well for us to creat a area for mom and pup's in our walk through in our kitchen. We used two.
Love this gate!

I've bought this gate several times. I love how wide it goes and how easy it is to move it to whereever I need it without it marking my walls up. I've even turned it sideways and used it to block my kitchen entrance by placing it under my counter edge.
The only con to this product is the wood is soft and brakes over a period of a year. Also the notches in the gate lock are made from wood and brake off if used in the same spot over and over. It would be better if made from a product that was more durable. This is the only reason I don't give it a 5 Star.
Obviously I like it, as I keep buying them when they brake.

Good sturdy gate. My dogs stay where they are supposed to be. THey are not fence jumpers.....I could see where that might not keep a bigger dog out if they tend to jump.
Not easy to set up

It takes a great deal of effort to get the gates set up to the correct width. Therefore, I now just leave them at that width and store them in the utility room when we don't use them. One of them has damaged the wall because 0.5 inch is the smallest increment the gates can be set. And, the smaller width did not hold the gate in place and the wider width was just a tad too large.

We have a five month old Golden Retriever puppy that is really active. This gate does a good job blocking off the stairway to areas we don’t want her to access.
Good gate and good price!

This gate is easy to use and works great to keep my dog in one room when needed.
