I thought these were very nice for the price. Despite not having instructions, even I - the unhandiest person in the world - was able to figure out how to use them. They are very sturdy and fit beautifully and snugly in the doorway. I have one stacked on top of the other and it works perfectly from the stray kitty I rescued from getting out of the room but lets him look out.
Handle too difficult to use

The gate is ok for the money but I can’t unlatch the gate when it’s in place. I’m a senior with arthritic hands and it’s too painful and impossible for me to pull open the latch. I have a room I want permanently blocked off so I will keep it but I won’t buy again or Recommend for an older person.
Perfect for my needs
on Jan 21, 2019
This is even better for my needs than the original product I picked out but was out of stock. I have a very docile 12 lb dog who just needs a hint so I needed something that would maintain the width, would be easily moved, and that would be easy to take on trips and adjust for each situation. This product takes care of all that perfectly.
the latch for the gate

It isn't as tight as I thought it would be. The latch doesn't hold very well and doesn't move well if the gate is halfway. I guess I should've measured better. I thought it was adjustable
Petgate pressure gate

This is very well made, substantial and nice to look at. More importantly it contains your pet in a safe controlled way.It is easy to operate, and closes to store away in a small narrow space. Price point makes it even better for the consumer. It arrived to our home one day early, what a bonus. I would recommend this to anyone with a young puppy who has yet to be fully trained on "manners".
Sir Licksalot does not approve
on Dec 30, 2018
His highness, Sir Licksalot, does not approve of being kept out of any area of his royal domain. Regardless of how many head buttings he does, he cannot breakdown this gate and enter the area where his humans are busy bringing in untold wealth from their foraging into the wilds of grocery land. This must be banned. His highness demands it!
It's ok but a bit floppy.

The apartment I am in is old and the doorway is uneven, so this often falls to the floor because it can't accommodate irregular shapes. It works for the most part though. It's cheap, so I can't complain.
So much easier to fit doorways

We have used many other baby gates to keep our Jack Russell mix out of the bathroom, but this gate is the easiest to use. The puppy doesn’t climb it either. She has climbed play pens and other gates we have purchased trying to get to the cat box. This one is awesome.

The gate is so easy to install. And I love that it now comes in brown. Great product and very sturdy.
Nice Sturdy Gate
on Nov 23, 2018
This gate is a very nice gate: it is attractive and a good height and once correctly in place is very secure. The only problem I had was there were NO instructions and figuring out how to mount the gate and use the locking arm was NOT easy.
