It is nice but there are some flaws

If you have trim you cannot install the gate all the way to the floor because it will not screw all the way into the wall. It also sticks really bad when you try to open and close it and it is a hassle to get it to latch close. I followed the directions step by step and lined up how it should but still have issues. It serves its purpose with dogs but cats can easily slip under bc we had to install ours above the trim and we have to put some serious elbow grease into lifting the gate up off of the strip and down onto it when we want to open and close it. It also sticks when retracting in and out. So it has its flaws but it looks really nice and it keeps our kids from being able to open it.

Great gate!

This is the second gate we purchased. Our first one that we purchased in 2012 is still in use. We are very satisfied owners.

I though it was going to be easier to put together but it actually took me a little.

Useful for training puppies

Wide enough to shut off stairs or another room when training puppies.

Worked perfectly to keep my 2 new German Sheperd Puppies contained both inside and outside of my house.

Kitty Gate

This gate works just fine. A little confusing and hard to get opened and closed. Have to pull out/push in sections in the correct order but no instruction about that. Also doesn't work well with a baseboard. Either mount above baseboards or notch out baseboards for vertical mounting pieces. Instructions are terrible! -1 Star for poor instructions. -1 Star for hard to open and close.

Excellent product. Works like a charm.

Not too difficult to install. I highly recommend this gate if you have an extra wide opening. It was actually too wide for my opening but all others I found are not wide enough. It wasn't hard to figure out how to separate the panels. I removed one panel and the gate now fits my opening just right. Thanks Chewy for supplying this excellent product.

Cheap horrible design

Bought this gate after looking for an option for a wide opening going into living room area from dining room. We wanted a way to leave gate open when not needed, this looked like an.option since one picture shows it folded up at one side. The problem is that it is hard to fold up and the piece for each side needs more space to be attached to wall than your normal opening. Horrible design.
