It may be possible to cover more than one cord however, it would depend on the thickness. This unique design is easy to use – just wrap around the desired cord. It fits around most house-hold cables up to 14-gauge. With 10 feet of cord protection, you can even create multiple cord covers for pets (simply cut to size length) or a very long stretch of chew proof cord protector.

Just in Time!

I purchased and installed this cord protector just in time to protect my 3 month old Cavapoo puppy from chewing through an electrical cord. Yesterday I heard an odd squeaky noise and found my puppy chewing on a protected surge protector cord. The cord protector didn’t show any damage “yet.” I say “yet” because a pet owner still needs to keep an eye on their dog. Who knows if the product would withstand prolonged chewing. Yet it protected my puppy from a serious accident. Unlike a different product I bought at the same time, this cord protector is flexible enough to easily install it on both thick and thin cords. Because it’s clear, it doesn’t compete with decor. [FYI, I’m 65+ with arthritis who found it easy to install.] Today I thought of an alternative use for this product. I haven’t tried it yet, however, it I were to install it on the bottom of indoor metal dog play pen/fence, the cord protector would probably protect my wood laminate floor from scratches. I’ll have to reorder the product before I can try out this idea.

This wore me out.....

Received the two cord protectors today for my two air purifiers. It was a pain in the butt trying to wrap the protectors around the cords. The PVC material was twisted and did not fully close around the cord. It was left with gaps and openings. However, the material seemed tough enough to possibly prevent bites and chews to the cord. I'll re-adjust the protectors tomorrow and see how it works in the long run.
