How wide of an opening is this gate for?

This pet gate adjusts to fit extra-wide openings in rooms or hallways between 38.3 to 72 inches wide. A 6-bar extension, which adds an additional 15 inches to the gate, is available through the manufacturer. A maximum of six extensions can be used, making this gate expandable up to 13 feet.
How heavy is the 3 piece gate? And do they have any that are made for outdoors?

Is it possible to use the floor free standing attachments with this gate?

Could be better

Love the quality of this, the material and color but it leaves more to be desired. I wish it was adjustable in the way that it could be shortened without “bending or folding” it. Also looking at the photo i didn’t realize it needed to be screwed to the wall to be mounted, I thought it was a tension adjustment. If it had those 2 things this would be 5 stars for me.

Works as Advertised

Installed to keep my small dog from bolting off the front patio (in quest of squirrels). Use the included templates and it's a snap to install. Truly fits a 72" opening. (Hint: if installing to woodwork of railing, pre-drill the holes to prevent splitting).

Chewy Donates Gate to Humane Society

We ordered a nice gate but it did not work out in our family room doorway. When we went to return it, Chewy said keep it, so we donated to the Humane Society of Huron Valley who will find good use for it. Thank you Chewy!

Easy and Works

Installed this thing in just a few minutes. Has an automatic closer function which is great with 23 kids that can't remember to close a gate if their lives depended on it. Wished it opened both ways, so keep that in mind.

Love this, but not for my pet.

We got this to use as a guard around our fireplace to keep our one year old granddaughter safe. Works perfectly, is much more sturdy than a baby gate and the door makes it easy to tend the fire.

Finicky gate locking/unlocking function

Rated poorly for inconvenience. You need to lift and pull the gate while pressing the release so it isn't a single handed process.

good gate choice that does the job

After trying a couple of gates that were unstable, hard to open, and poorly made I have finally found a gate that lives up to its claims. I have put it in a hallway that is 40" wide without anchoring it to the wall. It is still plenty sturdy to keep my growing puppy contained to just a portion of the house. And, the bars are close enough togeather to prevent her getting her head stuck.
